This Safeway location is one of the best big chain on Capitol Hill. I can usually find everything I need and more. The fresh seafood and meat sections are well stocked. And self checkout is pretty swift.

I called to have find out if the popcorn stand was still open ! RIKYIA ( employee) said she would be there until 7 o’clock! But if I did not make it in time, my order would be made, and someone in the bakery dep, woulld be able to hand it to me! Excellent Employee, Top Tier, Customer Service!
