Don’t buy the deli meats, there is a good chance they’ve spoiled.

Never any carts, expired food, unsanitary. Just not a good store.

I am so disappointed in the custom order cake I just picked up. The store did not have the supplies on hand to make the cake that was advertised, so I don’t fault the staff, but jeez, Safeway-really? What I ordered vs what I got.

This store is so disorganized, it almost seems like a joke. No one can think this is normal. People in this neighborhood deserve better. All people deserve better.

I stay right across the street I hate to shop at this location. You have more employees standing around talking to each other goofing off than at a register helping. Every time I go I see only 1 line open with 2 self checkout which is always crowded. You shouldn’t have to stand in line over 20 minutes to checkout 3 items.

In my 60 years of living all over The ENTIRE WORLD, this is the undisputed champion, if not the #1 contender, for the worst grocery store ever.
I went here in the past because it was a matter of convenience. Now I can't. If you are a 9-5er and this grocery store was conveniently at a subway stop, it would be a godsend! Nope. This place is the exact opposite! They had a need to upgrade security TWICE due to theft!
Imagine getting off from work and "attempting" to purchase a nice steak or piece of fish for dinner. That rarely happens. Your options were usually limited to fork, chicken and ground meats after 5pm. Apparently "grab and go" was an issue here. How many grocery store have armed security guards? On that note. How many grocery stores have armed security guards that just sand outside and "chat" with teenage young ladies vs working?
The majority of the staff are just there to be there and the others are extremely rude. The main entrance has about 6 self checkouts. Last night at 9:30 EACH checkout area was remiss of bags. ALL SIX! You have an attendant there during operating hours but they are usually "engaged" with random conversations.
The only thing items stock in abundance here would be items that you would store in a bunker. I guess they are telling me to get ready for war?
I'm going g to jump on the "I wish that I could give this place zero stars" bandwagon.
I feel sad for all of the people that bought prime real estate in this area.

Interesting grocery store. Bring your own bag or pay for there's. It's very safe being there is a lot of security.

I just read a couple reviews , they are so down on products expired dates as the worst customer service ever , sadly I just walk like 15 minutes to get here I m an old men with a couple medical conditions with the hope the send my mother some money by money order wich the Safeway offer the service , but instead to be able to do as I wish I find my self with a lady at the register that told me that was no way in hell she was going to open that that she was to busy with an arrogant aptitude and a fanny tone. So then again I ll ask her can I please ?? I can speak with the manager knowing that I just walk there and my motive was my mother probably I ll get a chance even if I had to wait but she replied I m the manager with a really high tone and send me away with an a really aggressive aptitude!
I understand if the service can’t be provided it , but her aptitude was really aggressive, and arrogant .
If she thinks she won’t have ability to serve the community, she shouldn’t working for it .
She also can put an update on the website site letting everyone knows about the inconvenience !

The GOOD:
There HAVE been improvements to the store over the last couple of weeks.
(Construction/renovation, better prices on some things, better security.)
Kudos to the staff and security for powering through all that.
The BAD:
Shoppers still need to be aware of some really high prices, modest selection, and the need for security EVERYWHERE. Customer service, unfortunately, can still be spotty at times.
The UGLY:
For what it's worth, it's the area surrounding the store that makes things so difficult. Some days, it can be absolute insanity. Personally, I feel for the employees and security, as they try to keep a lid on things. They really are working hard.

Absolute dumpster of a grocery store. Totally shameful.

Ok for a supermarket with basic products, nothing fancy.

There are never carts or baskets, so you have to carry whatever you want to purchase. There are also not enough check out lines so you have to wait forever to check out while trying to hold everything you are purchasing. The customer service is deplorable. The self checkout monitors are extremely rude and condescending to customers. The store is often out of products and never restocked. The produce and meat quality is not great and limited.

Store is closed without any notice and without any timeline of when it will reopen. Par for the course for a Safeway that never seems to have its act together.
