Yesterday, I bought a PlayStation gift card at Safeway for my nephew without any problems. Today, I returned to buy another gift card for my daughter, but the cashier refused to let me purchase it and insisted on seeing my ID. This was confusing and frustrating since I wasn’t asked for ID before. The lack of consistency and the way the situation was handled left me disappointed. Safeway needs to clarify its policies and train staff to provide better customer service.

Store is alright. The employees are chill. But oh my goodness is it a grocery store or a dog park? The store is already kind of small but now lets add everyone bringing in their dogs. This behavior should definitely be discouraged. Also the whole no bathroom thing sucks but i’d be willing to ignore that uf everyone could stop bringing their dogs in especially since they are never service dogs

The store is small, nonetheless, Albertsons removed some food items to make room for beer and wine when Cairo Liquors is just across the street! No bakery. No pharmacy. Fruits and vegetables look beat up. However, the Staff tries hard to provide pleasant customer service.

Its great to have a Safeway nearby but the lines are always very long and it's pretty small so variety of food options could be much better. It could probably also use a facelift

This store is a complete disaster of a shopping experience. Whatever you need most, they will either be out of it or it will be locked up and there will be no staff around. The place is also filthy and they don't have sanitizer or wipes available after you touch the never cleaned self checkout area.

Overall good, but the $10 roast beef sandwhich I just bought does not have any taste at all, even as it is touted as premium and fresh and so on.

This Safeway location is a total joke that is constantly out of stock of basic items. Just today I ordered groceries to make my dinner, and they had no chicken, no green onions, no tarragon, plus no chips, no avocados. What kind of supermarket is like this? It should be shut down and replaced with something else.

I am disabled and unable to use the self-checkout. When I asked an employee to help ring me up, they said, "It was my job.". I am not physically able at the moment to pick up and scan a lot of items at the same time. There was already somebody at the register who refused to help me, even though they had served someone in front of me. I've been there before, and it was okay, but lately it has been going downhill customer service wise.

If you want a store with high prices and medium to poor selection, this is your place! Only come by here because of proximity. If there was a good grocery in Dupont, this store would quickly close
