Highly recommend the classes and coaching here. New management is super professional and would suggest this studio to anyone.

This place is a scam. No call backs. They keep billing me after I canceled in June 2021. I drove to both locations and look they closed. How do you close your doors and continue to charge people. Reaching out to the BBB ASAP.

Reading some of the other reviews regarding fraud and no communication, I shouldn't be surprised by what happened to me/what continues to happen. I signed up as a founding member last year, and when the city banned indoor classes last year, I got a notification that the membership was suspended. They reinstated my membership without me knowing and continued charging me every month. Their communication was 100% top notch when I was a potential client. As soon as I signed one, communication went out the door. Now, it has been literally months, over a dozen phone calls, and several unanswered emails in trying to get this resolved. I really didn't want to leave a google review, because I want to see business thrive, but I wanted to put a warning out there. The manager, Kyle, even answered an email from me weeks ago, stating that he would be in touch the next day. Then he ghosted me. I've sent numerous emails since then. I am in the process of reporting Kyle and Row House West End to the Better Business Bureau and the DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.

I have been a member of Row House West End since it opened and go to a class about 4 days/week. I think the studio is fantastic. Kyle Moneymaker, the manager, is almost always at the front desk, where he greets everyone by name. He is extremely communicative about any class changes and always accomodating. The teachers are universally strong and fun and enthusiastic. I love the workout itself, which you can adjust to your fitness and energy level at all times. I think the cost is reasonable and a good value. I'm a big fan.

I tried to cancel my account for 3 months but they insist I have to pay even after the cancelation was contracted for 30 days. I tried calling to cancel and it is a “3rd” party so they can’t cancel my account with row house. So for three months they been charging me. Worst business model, hope they go under soon. The classic gym that needs money so they drag out these cancellations.

Caroline was an amazing teacher. Music was loud enough to enjoy but you were still able to hear Instructions. She took the time to explain best posture but also kept you moving. I have never taken a rowing class before and it was truly the most fun workout class I’ve ever done. Would def do again!

This location has done a terrible job in communicating with its customers about any account issues. I have been trying to cancel my account for FOUR MONTHS and they will not respond to any emails, voice mails, or texts that I have sent. If you call their billing department, they say the only people who can do anything about canceling the account is the actual facility. DO NOT give this place your business.

We signed up to the Row House and then the gym closed down/ were unable to provide classes. When we asked to freeze our account and ultimately cancel the membership, we were told that we would be credited the amount charged since we did not use the membership. We were never given the credit and were always told oh the credit is going to get there and it never did. A complete waste of time and money!DC law mandated gyms not to give in person classes and this gym continued to charged customers despite the fact that they were unable to provide the service. In response to the below response. The membership was paid for 2 months and was only used for approximate 1 week. As far as the attempts to returns/refund the unused is not true because I contacted the credit card company who advised that the Row House sent a copy of the contract as reason why they were not refunding the money charged. Again, even though things changed after the contract was signed. Yes, this pandemic is nobody's fault. I guess this company has zero provisions to accommodating customers even though the service is not fully delivered. My daughter called multiple times and went to the studio to cancel the membership. She was told multiple times not to worry that a refund will be given not to worry. In all we tried to support local businesses but when we are given misguided information it's just not fair for consumers. Best of luck, I will just provide all the Information to the cc company.
