First time there, Raymond from the wine section was tremendously helpful, i had a ton of stuff to bring to the car and he went out of his way to help me out. Much appreciated.

Rodman's is an absolute gem. They have EVERYTHING from EVERYWHERE: wines, liquors, meats, chocolates, jams, spices, cheeses, baked goods, teas, coffees--plus fresh produce. And that's just upstairs. Downstairs is everything ELSE you could possibly want: toiletries, cosmetics, home decor items, basic hardware stuff, kitchen supplies, candles, a pharmacy, and even a jewelry repair counter. They simply don't make stores like this anymore. It's perfection.

Their staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection of wine, beer, and at great prices. Have some great quirky foods items. The downstairs is a dream of kitchen utensils, aprons, glasses, soaps, brooms, bags, etc., and etc. They also have lunch bags, snack bags, sand, cooler bags, and so much more! Happy Shopping

Rodman's is my favorite DC store. It has an incredibly vast (and quirky) array of products, a great location, free and easy parking, friendly, neighborly vibe, and very reasonable prices (and excellent sale prices). The pharmacy staff is exceptionally capable and caring.

Nice place to pick up odds and ends. They now carry wine, beer and liquor at reasonable prices. You can also play your numbers with very nice staff numbers.

This is a longstanding neighborhood institution with exotic groceries upstairs and a full service drugstore in the basement. The only problem is that the cashiers in the back are very curt, rude and sarcastic with customers. Either there has been an ownership change or they are too cheap to hire customer oriented employees. If not for the employee situation, this place would get five stars.

Pharmacy help is extraordinary, always pleasant and go out of their way to help any way they can. Store has an amazing range of products and is usually willing to go to their suppliers if you are looking for something they don't currently carry.

What can I say? Rodman’s is the best. I love all the international foods and wines. Wine guys are helpful. Great beer selection too. They now have liquor. I always come around the holidays to get specialty items from Italy and Germany but also enjoy seeing treats from all around the world. Great prices for the most part. Pretty decent cheese section. The ladies at checkout are nice but they talk to one another over the customers and aren’t super attentive. It’s not a huge problem but it sort of makes you feel less appreciated since you’re basically ignored. The downstairs is not to be missed. It’s like a Target and a neighborhood variety shop rolled into one tiny basement. Packed! Lots of medical supplies too, for whatever ails you. There’s even a little watch shop and pharmacy down there. It’s a great way to spend an hour browsing and getting all your shopping done. Rodmans please don’t ever close.

In this international grocery store, it is possible to find products from around the globe. It's a small store, but it has a great variety of hard to find spices, tea, chocolate, cheese and great wine and bière from many countries.
