Patrick did a great job repairing my vintage Technics SL-6 linear tracking turntable. The tone arm was stuck at the outer edge and wouldn’t move towards the center of the record, so I wasn’t able to play any of my vinyl. Patrick was able to fix the problem by replacing the belt that moves the tone arm and lubricating all the moving parts. Now the turntable works great!

My guitar had poor tuning stability and I just couldn't figure out how to fix it myself with youtube tutorials. Took it here and Anno had my guitar back to me after a week, it plays much better and I don't have to worry about it falling out of tune while recording. Much more reliable now and absolutely would recommend to anyone needing a guitar tech in DC.

I just got my turntable (a 1970s Kenwood KD-550) back from Pat at Rock’n Repair and he knocked it out of the park. He did a ton of research on the table, serviced it, and installed a new cartridge and set up the tonearm. It sounds amazing. Plus, he’s a laid back guy who’s very knowledgeable about all kinds of music. Highly recommend this shop.

Their guitar tech, Anno, is the best in DC. I've tried many and Anno is the best. You'll need to go out to Falls Church, VA to find someone with equivalent skill. They've handled every issue I've had with my guitars with excellent attention to detail. For example, when I needed a pickup swapped, the new pickup was installed and set to the height that I like it, when other shops do not. After a recent setup, the guitar is clean and plays beautifully.I 100% recommend Anno at Rock'n Repair.

Very friendly, helpful, and honest. I brought in a midi controller, and they immediately said it might not be worth repairing. I chose to get it repaired, and it was done in less than a week. Labor cost around $100/hr and they have very limited hours they are open. I would absolutely go back for future repairs.

I have a twin reverb from the 1970s that needed a lot of work. Patrick from Rock'n Repair walked me through a number of options that I could consider, depending on how much I wanted to spend. He even told me about options that did not include his own shop that I could consider. I was impressed not only with with technical knowledge but also with how he was only focused on what my needs were and not on how his shop could make money from me. I would recommend them highly.

I had an incredible experience conversing with Pat and Peter, who not only enlightened me about the issues with my newly purchased Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 50 Head, but also provided invaluable assistance. Today, I had the pleasure of playing it, and I must say, the sound is nothing short of astonishing. Without a doubt, I will return to them for any future electronic repairs, and perhaps even consider getting my guitar set up there!

Took my Audio-Technica turntable in for some minor repairs after it got jostled around when I was moving. Patrick got it back into shape super quickly and was fun to chat music with as well! Will definitely be back for any future repairs needed.

Great shop! I brought in a 60s-era turntable for refurbishing, and everything went well. You can tell that the team loves their work and know what they are doing. Pricing was fair, and I appreciated the updates about the progress on sourcing parts, etc. Oh, and the turntable sounds great!

Driven by this place many times and never had to go inside. Glad I did because when I needed my Orange amp repaired, it couldn't have worked out better. At first I was scared parts would have to be ordered but, when I explained that I needed it fixed for my wedding, they started working on it on the spot! Got my amp repaired same day! Unbelievable.
