Excellent service! Even though I don’t have an account with them.

The personal banking experience and service is quickly disappearing at PNC.

Horrible branch. The girl at the teller line sits on the phone all day with her ear piece in, she always has an attitude, and she is not very helpful. The rudest thing she does is talk on the phone while being with customers. She will have a full conversation when you are at her window. There has been times where I've seen her leave the bank and have no tellers inside.

Avoid at all costs. Went to get a few checks all of which were denied by the merchants since the branch didn't print them with the required information. Might as well keep the ATM and get rid of everything else.

I walked in during a weekday around lunchtime. The branch was fairly empty of customers. I made eye contact with and was immediately greeted by Fatima B. I explained to her my issue regarding a service fee, which she was kindly able to reverse after hearing me out. Fatima was friendly, professional, prompt, and helpful. She also educated me on the interest-bearing benefit that I already had on one of my accounts with PNC that I was not aware of. She explained how it worked and the pros of making use of the perk. I thanked her, she handed me a business card for any follow-up questions, and I departed. I definitely recommend this branch and the stellar staff member, Fatima, who not only resolved my issue satisfactorily and without being put off, she also went above and beyond by ensuring that I was fully aware of the benefits available to me. Great downtown DC location!

They are unable to do wire transfers at this branch. This is a pretty basic banking function. Totally unacceptable.

Submitted documentation for pre-approval for mortgage through the loan officer at this location. Once I submitted all of my documentation, which includes a lot of sensitive information, I never heard back from the loan officer. I called, emailed and no response. I am overly disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and overall customer service. I've banked with PNC for 10+ years and the customer service has been more than efficient. This puts quite a damper on my overall experience. Would not recommend this location for mortgage loans.

Went in to make a deposit and was created by the friendliest people. They helped me out right away and I never needed to wait for a teller. They called me by name which made me feel very welcomed.

Tried to open up a retirement account, according to my accountant's plan for taxes. The rep at this branch told me I couldn't do it, in the way that I was trying to explain to her. I called my accountant, explained to him what the bank rep was saying - he laughed and said they were absolutely ignorant. I tried to explain how the laws work regarding self-employment taxes, tax extensions, and retirement fund contributions. The rep said, me and my accountant were wrong. Went back to my office, printed off all the IRS rules, called PNC headquarters, who said "yes, of course you can do this, not sure why you were told you can't." Super excited to have to go back now, to educate a banker, how to bank.
