I really want to like this place, especially because they carry a specific brand that I really enjoy. But every time I step foot into the store, the owner is extremely rude and unwelcoming and honestly plain dismissive. I feel as if I’m being followed around the store, as if I am going to take some thing. Find another small business to support because this one isn’t it.

Patrick's is a beautiful gem on the Wharf. I see in the reviews below other shoppers mention their price point and the owner being "rude", but I'll have to come to their defense. The owner is not rude, he's actually a lovely person with a dry sense of humor, which I realize some may take as rude, but he is not. Getting to know him has been a treat. The owners of this business have been in interiors and decor for a long while and have a gift. Their store is stocked with classic high-end dinnerware, tableware, art, candles, jewelry, picture frames, and all sorts of home goods and beautiful treasures. Mixed in with the higher-end offerings are plenty of affordable and beautiful items, too. I think a sign of a well-made shop is one that provides goods for all variations of shoppers, which is a challenge, but Patricks does this well. Do yourself a favor and visit them. I shop here often and cannot say enough kind things! I am excited to see what they bring out for Easter!

I’ve been shopping at Patrick’s since they were in Old Town. Fantastic people, extraordinary inventory. And their design consulting services, which I have used, are second to none. This shop is one of the (few) things I miss since moving from the area. The owners are usually onsite and the staff have always been courteous and helpful.

I wrote this review so that anyone else who shops here can know what to expect. And does not leave feeling like I did afterwards. The good: Lots of fun and eclectic items. Fun store to see everything and a very nice selection of gifts for the home, hostess gifts, registry gifts, candles and scents and much more. The bad: Floor Attendant/maybe owner condescending. If you don't want people to touch items(Such as the umbrellas) have a sign that says "Do Not Touch Umbrellas" instead of "Ask for Assistance with Umbrellas". I was perusing the store and was yelled at by the owner for handling an umbrella(I had picked it up and was looking at the colors of the fabric) I understand not wanting the umbrellas to be opened in the tight quarters, however, there is no need to yell at an adult for looking when your sign implies if you want to see it opened ask us. So be warned, you might be yelled at for looking around.

I'm absolutely in love with this store! Unfortunately I only had 10 minutes to spare before my show, next time I have reason to be at the waterfront I'll be sure to build in MUCH more time for a casual browse! I feel like you could find a gift for anyone in here. The photos don't do this place justice, it is jammed packed with curiosities and wonderments! I wish them much success, and hope you get to visit them soon! (NO, I am in no way affiliated with this establishment, it just sparked that much enthusiasm in me, LOL!)

The products and selections are amazing. Prices are steep but one of a kind merchandise. However, we needed customer service after the fact, and no return calls or emails. Must be we didn't spend enough. Not a way to run an airline.

Extremely unfriendly. When you enter the owner does not greet you. I heard two customers say bye and he just ignored them. Then he asked if I needed anything and I responded no just looking because it was my first time in there and he gave me a dry “thanks”. If I could give zero stars I would.

I have bought a couple of candles and little knickknacks from Patricks on the wharf. They're very expensive. The candles I brought were wonderful and cost Me $74 each. I thought that was crazy but nest has a candle called blue garden that is awesome! I went back to see if they had another nest blue garden candle. Patrick & his Partner told me Nest no longer makes that candle. They offered me a bottle of nest blue garden liquid that you put diffusers in. I've never heard of this stuff before and they said that the smell of blue garden was in this bottle and it would last for six months. I was charged $48 for this bottle with these diffusers and the smell went away in three days! I looked at the bottle closely and found out that it is a tester? How are they selling a tester for $48. I'm telling you I live in the neighborhood and they could've made so much more money but that move was just absolutely unacceptable. They don't have to worry about me coming back!

We love to visit with Patrick, David, and their darling Bedlington terriers, Shannon and Pineapple. The owners are so welcoming. They have exquisite gifts, fine glassware and hostess gifts. If you need puppy love, this is the place to be.

If I could give a ZERO I would. The owner Patrick is extremly rude and condescending. I called the store because the flowers I purchased died 2 days later. He proceeded to ridicule me for not knowing exactly when I purchased them whether they were purchased 1 or 3 days ago which was not important. Zero customer service, super snotty and awful manners. He made no offer to remedy the situation just insults.Beware of this store and they're shady business practices. I will be looking further into this business.

Unique upscale home and personal accessories- huge assortment of specialty fragrance and body products I’ve not seen elsewhere. Great gifts, fun browsing.
