“My favorite thing about this place is they are kind to hardware dummies. No condescending tone no matter how clueless the customer. Plus someone always on deck to help you find something as soon as you walk in. Shelves always fully stocked -- and don't be fooled by the seemingly small size of the storefront. Plenty more supplies in back, next door in the paint store and upstairs in housewares.”
“This is a small neighborhood hardware store but they keep an impressive array of hardware, tools, paint, garden, and "lifestyle" items for most DIY projects. Where the big box stores are geared to accommodate contractors, Annie's aims for the individual and their residence. Staff is always friendly, the store is well staffed for their size so there's always someone available for questions or assistance. I really appreciate a hardware store that can still operate in the neighborhood without leveling 15 acres. Factoring in my time and general frustration with large box stores, the prices for a quick trip down the street are competitive with other options.”
“I rarely write reviews for restaurants, and have never written one for a hardware store, but the folks at Glover Park Ace Hardware have forced my hand. They carry literally anything you could hope to buy at a hardware store (and many things you wouldn't expect) and virtually every employee I've interacted with there over the years has been kind, friendly, and helpful. They have set the standard for hardware stores in the area!”

The manager carefully changed the colors of two cans of paint that I had bought weeks earlier instead of charging me for new cans based on my change of mind. “Just had THE best customer experience here. Walked in playing gopher for my contractor and Antonio saved the day for me. Got the paint match adjusted for a 5 gallon bucket (didn’t know that was a thing), reminded me to use my contractor’s account for discount and even carried the paint out to my car! Amazingly surprised and pleased with my visit from start to finish.”

“The level of customer service here is excellent. I have a retrofitted grooming van with all kinds of custom hoses and fittings. One of them broke and I had a major leak. I explained my problem to Mike and he was able to retrofit a toilet supply line, a hose barb, and clamps to create what I needed. He cut and fitted everything on the spot. I will be coming here for all my hardware needs in the future.”
