There's something especially distasteful about a company that sells derelict Christmas items, especially trees. I bought my Christmas tree here this year and realized after the first couple of days that the tree was brittle and wasn't taking in any water. I tried unsuccessfully to reach a manager about my crisp, fire hazard, though he never replied to my calls or email. I spoke to a salesperson named Austin no less than four times; while sweet, he was entirely unhelpful in resolving the issue. There are several great places to buy trees: Eastern Market and the place near National Cathedral, being my favorites. Skip the hassle of buying a second tree - which I did - and go to one of those. Don't waste your time here.

Excited to see more native plants at Olde City Garden! There are a lot of us planting natives of all kinds, trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses...and Olde City is actively getting more in stock. I'm thrilled to have this location nearby! Thank you, Pat, for listening to a request and making it happen :-)

I am not a very adept gardener or plant owner, so I really appreciated how helpful Jeremy was. It’s a great neighborhood gardening center. Picked up a cute pot for my monstera. Will be back.

Best place to get a Christmas tree. Sam was great helping us make a choice and load it on our car.

Great place to buy firewood. Nice sized pieces that you can pick on your own for a good price. Convenient for those who don’t need to purchase wood by the cord. A nice neighborhood gem.

Smaller than a big box store, but they had the tomato seedlings we were looking for! Always happy to support local.

A great locally owned plant (and fire wood) center. Sometimes a little low on stock but worth a visit for healthy plants!

I had high hopes and wanted to support this business, as I knew the former owner. Landscaping work did not feel professional and lacks luster compared to other homes in my neighborhood using less expensive services. The price does not reflect the end product. I do not recommend for landscaping services.

Went to try the Spicy Water food. Delicious! Added bonus- we got to shop for a few perennials after a nice lunch of chicken, fries, and perfect plantains.

Super kind staff, Christmas trees looks great, nice fire pit to get warm while chosing the tree...they should put a hot chocolate / Glühwein stand, my kids and I would have been happy clients :-)

Great experience! I called ahead to see if they had what I needed and Tom was helpful and informative. They had a great selection of plants as well.

I used Olde City to help clean and landscape my over grown backyard and they blew me away. Communication was easy, they drew up a plan for me and got to work. I didn't really know what to do with the space but they had great suggestions and it came together perfectly. From start to finish just a great experience.
