The BEST nail experience consistently every single time I go. The location is beautiful. They don’t use toxic products so there is no smell. I didn’t believe that was possible in a nail salon. The nail techs have all been amazing. My non toxic gel manicures have lasted just as well as the horrible toxic ones I used to subject myself to. They also only offer a specific menu so no one tries to upsell you as you relax. I will never go to another nail salon if I can help it. I recommend this place a couple times a week to strangers so I figured it was time I wrote an honest review. Love this place.

In desperate need of a nail fix I found Nailsaloon. I did a walk in appointment and was immediately given an appointment with Rosa who was very kind and a great conversationalist. The service was excellent with highlights such as a sugar scrub and a gorgeous warm oil and lotion massage. I was very pleased with everything. The salon was gorgeous with free coffee, tea and water. Their quiet policy was very refreshing and I felt very comfortable.

This review is because of Haku! I’ve been going to Nail Saloon for a while whether Capitol Hill or Logan Circle and usually get great service. Haku started cutting my toenails without asking how much I wanted them cut. By the time she got to the second toe, I realized that she was cutting them shorter than I would like and I told her to only cut them a little. Fast forward to after my fingernails are done and I look at my toes. I realize that the second toenail is slanted. I guess she stopped cutting after I said to cut a little. Why would someone only cut part of the toenail and leave the other side longer, puzzles me. I ask her if she could fix it. She walks away to go get her manager and when walking away, she acts as if she is annoyed. Her manager comes over, files down the one side of the nail and then it is fixed. It was such an easy fix. I had had a great experience up until that moment when Haku responded as if I had did something wrong. That was poor customer service.

If you have SNS on your nails, do not go here for removal. When I arrived and let them know that I wanted my dip removed and then a gel mani, it seemed to cause extreme stress to my original manicurist. No one seemed to know what to do. I waited probably 20 minutes while a few manicurists deliberated how to proceed. I was with my friend who received a good regular mani, otherwise I would have left. They then had me soak my nails in acetone for another 20 minutes or so, and used a nail file to scrape it off my nails. I repeatedly asked for my manicurist to make my nails shorter, because they were so frail after she filed the tops off so much, and she kept them long. I was also cut in the process, without apology. My nails were very uneven and the gel was not smooth. When I woke up the next day, my nails literally hurt because of how aggressive the scraping was the day before. Ultimately, I went to my regular salon the next day to have them fixed. So all in all, ended up paying for 2 manicures in 2 days. Not worth it - I should have cancelled when they first started to get stressed out over the SNS and just waited on my friend.

I’ve been here twice, both times I got different services. I decided to give this place a try since I live in the area & my first time was great I only went in for a pedicure. I went again this week only for a gel manicure & I was very dissatisfied & disappointed. The lady seemed annoyed & seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. She had forgot about finishing up with a top gel coat until I reminded her & barely filed my nails after I requested squared (they looked round). I left & had to file them at home.

I’ve been going to this nail saloon for a number of months and have never had a bad experience- lots of fun color options, free drink, kind staff, clean/quiet atmosphere, and always an incredible job on my nails. Takes at least 2 weeks to see any chips on my nails even though I use my hands a lot, esp playing with the dog every day! Very gentle staff and I appreciate the professional demeanor by not yelling at each other across the salon! Pricing is good and I’m always happy and will confirm to go back as long as I live in the area:-)

The Nailsaloon in Logan Circle is my go to for my manicure needs. I am not someone who regularly gets my nails done, but when I do, I always know I can count on them. Their facility is clean with long tables and a bright space. The chairs are comfortable, the music is great and the staff is friendly. They always offer you a beverage upon arrival, and they do host events for groups, which I've done before and they are super accommodating. I only get the Saloon Mani, so I can't speak to gel or design experiences for nail art. That said, several of my close friends love Altan (@nailsnyaltan). Most recently I had Ramzia and she was super kind and did a great job. From a price standpoint, I know Nailsaloon can be a tad more expensive than other salons. I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for, and the overall experience including their sugar scrub, hot towels and moisturizing lotion are what set them apart.

Ozzy was great! The vibe of the salon was lovely, the playlist was wonderful, and the manicure I got was pristine. I will say… I really had my heart set on a French manicure but I was told, once I was already sitting in the chair, that they couldn’t do that unless I upgraded to a gel manicure. That was a bummer. I ended up just getting a regular manicure because I didn’t want to be upcharged. I wish they were more upfront about this or made it clearer on their website.

This is a great place- service is always dependable, and they take great care of clients. It's my go-to destination in DC.

I got gel removal and a manicure here. Gel removal was incomplete, there was still gel on my nails, which made the coat of polish on top lumpy and spotty. The technician (jade) did not remove my cuticles and after asking her to go over them again, she applied a very abrasive technique to cuticle “removal” that literally scraped my nails unnecessarily. She was very nice but clearly inexperienced. In total I was there over an hour from start to finish and when I tried to ask the front desk what the cuticle care portion of what I paid entailed, she didn’t even know the answer! Plus I almost got accidentally overcharged!

They don’t properly remove gel nail polish and then do a spotty job painting nails.

This salon is truly a treat! Everyone is kind and friendly, the color options are much more extensive than most other salons in the area, and the prices are quite reasonable. You can even get a complimentary glass of wine while you get your manicure or pedicure!

I enjoyed the process, but I'm a little disappointed that I got my nails done gel last Sunday and they didnt last. I tried calling but there's no way to reach anyone.
