I have used this facility for my eye care for 30 years. The previous generation of optometrists have transitioned to a new generation, and it is now part of MyEyeDr. The quality of eye care is excellent. Now comes the BUT. . . . For the first time, I used their eyeglass services to update a pair of titanium frames that I had for many years. They destroyed the frames. Two of of the three staff were apologetic and helpful. The third was nasty, dismissive, disrespectful, impossible to understand, tried to hide the possible remedies, and accused me of having attitude. MyEyeDr's first recommended remedy was to refer me to a local shop called FrameMender. FrameMender did a good job fixing the damage, but then MyEyeDr refused to complete their part of the work which would require installing the new lenses. MyEyeDr did agree to update a second, older pair of frames. This whole process took 7 weeks. I was contacted by someone from Customer Services whose main concern was to explain the waiver that I signed. I would never ever ever use MyEyeDr eyeglass services in the future. There are much better opticians available in DC. I feel stupid not having read the many negative reviews. Apparently, my experience is not unique.

The reviews almost kept me away, but every interaction I had with the front desk and sales associate I worked with was extremely professional in getting new lenses for my glasses. The sales associate's estimate when the glasses would be ready for pickup was exact to the day. On each occasion I visited I was seen promptly and was in and out quickly with no issues.

Continued to have terrible customer services experiences here. Frames did not fit. Asked them to adjust and they popped lenses out. Never communicated what happened. Came back again after calling 3 times and being told each time they would call me back and never did. Came back again because frame still did not fit properly. This time they said I had to sign a waiver. Do not come here.

Confirmed my appointment by text and received an additional text confirmation last night. Showed up for my appointment this morning to find that it had been canceled! Amazing start to the day.

Don't get your glasses lenses replaced through MyEyeDr. They lost my glasses and did not right the situation in any way--I was left with the entire lost cost.My eye exam was great--they fit me in even though I was late, the doctor was very friendly and efficient, and the staff were generally friendly and accommodating.However, I decided to get the lenses on my glasses updated with my new prescription through this MyEyeDr location. After about 2.5 weeks, they called me and informed me that my glasses had been lost in shipping.There was no explanation and the only remedy they offered was 50% off a new pair of glasses in their store, which was of no help because I had purchased my glasses from a different store and they did not have the frames in their store.

I have had so many negative experiences with this office. The providers are fine, nothing negative there. However the front desk staff and the office supervisor, Christy Phillips, are incredibly rude and unhelpful. No one is friendly nor do they ever want to go out of their way to help.

One of the worst eye glass customer service experiences I've ever encountered. They were not rude but the professionalism and accuracy of information needs much improvement.

My exam was quick and efficient. The Doctor encouraged me to get contacts that were a bit pricier than my normal contacts but assured me that there was a rebate with the more expensive contacts. I had a bit of wait while being checked out. I leave the office and check my receipt packet when I get home. There is only a receipt and nothing about a rebate. I assume the rebate information will come when I get my contacts. It did not. I called the office and they claimed they would send me an email that evening or first thing the next morning. That was two days ago and I have yet to receive an email. The exam is fine. From my experience after that you will not get good customer service and may in fact get scammed out of your money.

Truly the worst eye doctor store you can imagine, driven entirely by the most incompetent and rude customer service / front office ever. Dr. Lim is very personable, but that is the tiniest positive about this otherwise awful location.To put it simply, my one star rating is entirely due to the rudest and most incompetent front of office workers you can imagine. Whether it be losing my trial lenses and doing nothing to expedite getting me another pair or being so extremely rude over the phone when trying to schedule an appointment, there is really no limit to how awful this location is.Don’t bother coming; it’s not worth the hassle. Take your business elsewhere!
