Dr. Dearing and Jenny at MyEyeDr Cathedral Commons are excellent. Both have been taking care of me and my family for years. Jenny has assisted me and my daughters in picking out glasses and she is always extremely helpful and so friendly. We are always warmly greeted as soon as we enter the store. I can't say enough good things about this location, great frames, great location and excellent customer service.

When I walked in I was not warmly Greeted other than the Latina women in the front who was in the middle of her glasses fitting and made me feel nice ; the front desk lady was not paying attention because she was on her phone , she gave me the wrong paper work to fill out( imagine if I didn’t know how to read) then after the Eye DR was not warm and she looked at me like I was not supposed to be there! She was very cold and unwelcoming and talked bad about my choice of things ! While I was at my appointment she was very snobby! And Rude ! After the guy who helped me didn’t offer me any options but low end options for frames! My insurance covers high end frames and he was not giving me Good customer service and also was not aware of the rules and policy ! He didn’t even offer the insurance on the frames ! After my appointment he was surprised that I COULD AFFORD high quality eye frames and insurance of my glasses and still didn’t give me great customer service! All of this happened and I notice certain customers being offered better customer service; which I couldn’t help but wonder ?? Eventually after I went to pick up the Frames the Latina Woman was very warm to me and I wish she would have helped me after my rude interaction with the Eye DR and person who was not fully educated on how to help ALL TYPES of customers
Who made my interaction , still very COLD. I’ve been a MyEyeDR customer for more than 10 years (Silver Spring Location) I was suprised to see how they treated me like I was no Value to them when I clearly have always been a paying customer with a Good reputation. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place! They’re terrible to people who don’t “fit the mold of the area” ! He even was scrambling when I was asking him about the eyewear insurance when he KNEW I paid for it ! He didnt even want to give me a bag for my 1K glasses and eye glasses clean-wear that for EVERYONE they provide because I wasn’t a certain demographic (Note I had not bag) Terrible Service if you’re not a certain demographic!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

This eye doctor location is one of the best!! I have been coming here for years and they have always done such an amazing job and care for their patients so much!! Jenny was so kind and friendly. She really helped me out today with my contacts and my exam, and she went above and beyond!!! She is the best!!

Twice now Jenny has come to my rescue and fixed my out-of-whack glasses cheerfully and efficiently. I appreciate her awesome customer service, and next time I need an updated prescription and new glasses, I will definitely patronize this MyEyeDr location.

I've had great experiences at MyEyeDr. The eye exams are thorough but efficient and the eyeglass fitting and buying experience is excellent. Jenny is a great eyewear consultant. She always provides a customized experience taking into account style and budget. She makes a sometimes boring to task fun. She expedited my glasses and called me personally to let me know they were available. I highly recommend the eyeglass buying experience with Jenny.

This location is the absolute BEST in the area with extremely friendly and helpful staff. After having a problem at a different location, Carrianna was a breath of fresh air. She immediately worked with me to find a solution, talking with me on the phone, working with me at the store, and making me leave with a smile. Carrianna is AMAZING, solution-oriented, friendly, and caring. She goes above and beyond and is dedicated to making sure customers have a positive experience at My Eye Dr. She is fantastic!!!!!! I wasn’t expecting much because most commercial eye places have felt like a quick your next ok bye. However, Dr. Dearing was one of the patient providers I’ve ever had. All my questions were answered and there was space given for explanations when I didn’t fully understand something. Definitely changed my perception of eye exams. I will be coming back for sure to see Dr. Dearing. The front office staff are also helpful. Thanks for taking care of me.

I have had multiple good experiences at this MyEyeDr location. Both eye doctors I have seen were professional, thorough and informative. I have purchased glasses and contacts (for the first time ever). And Jenny helped me with the contacts as well as picking out glasses. Jenny was great and made both experiences fun! She was extremely helpful and patient as I was learning to insert my contacts. And I just recently went back to buy new glasses and sunglasses. She brought me multiple (fun) frames to try on and while I still ended up getting fairly conservative frames she made the whole experience much more fun! I ventured out a tiny bit with the sunglasses ams am very happy with them. Overall I highly recommend this location and Jenny!!
