Dr. Sun Kim was really excellent. She made me feel comfortable throughout the examination, she was thorough and careful. She explained the findings in terms I could understand. I give her 5 stars without reservation.

Terrible customer service. They barely acknowledged me for 10 minutes at the counter (I was the only person waiting) and then told me they were cancelling on me after I had already showed up.

The customer’s time has no value at this store. They only want your money. The low reviews here speak truly to the service you get at this business. They send you an automated text message that your order is ready for pick up but when you waste your time to go there they say that the person who fits the Len’s to the frame only works on such and such day. I DON'T HAVE ANY VOICE MAIL FROM YOU AND IT IS NOT TRUE THAT YOU HAD CALLED. I AM LOWERING THE RATING FOR THIS INCORRECT RESPONSE YOU HARE PROVIDING. Your customers don't have free time to travel to store to find out that you have provided wrong instructions in your automated messages for pick ups.

I have been to several myeyedr this is the most professional and customer friendly location. Reba and Steve at this location were knowledgeable and helpful in every way. They went the extra mile to solve my problem quickly and efficiently.

Terrible customer service - will cancel your appointment because you don’t pick up one unknown number (no voicemail left) at 8am. She also attempted to tell me there’s a 10 minute grace period (which I was under, although I was late) and she let the doctor leave 6 minutes into that grace period. When asked about the grace period, she proceeded to tell me I didn’t pick up the phone. There are many better eye doctors in this city, do not recommend

This review is solely for going to MyEyeDr for a medical issue. They are fine for a basic checkup and glasses/contacts.
Dr. Nick Neagle left me waiting for 30 minutes for my appointment despite that fact there was no one else he was seeing and no one else waiting. Annoying, but ok.
Then, instead of digitally fulfilling my prescription, he claimed it was "too hard" and would "take too long" despite the fact doctors do this all the time. He instead wrote me a physical prescription I would need to drop off at a pharmacy. Annoying, but ok,
When I dropped off my prescription, I was told it would be ready the next day. Instead, the next day I got a call letting me know that because Mr. Neagle had not included his name or his NPI, they couldn't fill my prescription. I gave them MyEyeDr.'s number so they could get the info.
Pharmacy never heard back from MyEyeDr or Mr. Neagle. So I tried. Poor receptionist was trying her hardest but with no avail.
Finally, a full 48 hours after my appointment I was able to get the info, but only because I called the receptionist again. It took 3 calls over two days to get a simple number that should have been on the prescription in the first place.
Never had such a negative and unprofessional experience trying to get the care I needed. Thankful this wasn't for something painful or more urgent.
To be honest, I am now questioning the legitimacy of the whole operation. Maybe I'll go somewhere else for my annual checkup.

I have been coming here for the past five years. Upon visiting another facility in New York a few months ago, I discovered that the prescription for my new glasses was incorrect. Ms. Reba, the manager of the DC location, not only immediately identified the problem but also put in the request to have it fixed ASAP, with no additional charges to me. Excellent customer service is hard to find. The team led by Dr. Richardson is exceptional, and I’ll keep coming back.

My wife scheduled and planned for an eye appointment weeks in advance at this location and made arrangements to leave work for it. She got a call today saying they gave her appointment away to someone else because she didn't "verbally confirm it" when they called while she was at work. Unbelievable!

Save yourself the trouble and don't bother. You have to go to the back into a break room to wash your hands before removing contacts. Super weird vibes.
The annual subscription is fake as can be. I tried to get contacts to last me the last few weeks between running out and exactly one year from my last appointment. This is something I was promised and was entitled to as part of this program. I called 5 separate times and was always told they were backlogged (a complete lie as I went somewhere else and the same thing was delivered in 1 day). I was promised 3 separate times a manager would call me. The last time, she finally did but lied again saying the contacts would be delivered the following Monday (it was Thursday). They never came in and I gave up trying.
Save your money and your time and do NOT use this facility. This was the worst experience I've had with an office since I started wearing glasses 22 years ago.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the location at 235 Penn. such great service. And the manager (Gwen I believe?) was just lovely, kind, and amazing. The medical system in the US is tricky so it’s so refreshing to have an experience like this. Highly recommend with no reservations.

Anjela treated my friend and me with dignity, respect, and kindness. She took the time to educate us on how the glasses are made and why getting them custom fit is important for the prescription. They are very busy with exams booked all day so it’s important to be on time, no room for walkins or late patients. Can be pricey but they try to help when they can.
