Mint Management: the gym and facilities have become very dirty and potentially unsanitary. I’d advise you do an inspection + deep clean of the gym floors, bathrooms, saunas, shower stalls, equipment etc. Seems like nothing has been deep cleaned for months.Aside from that, the people and workers at Mint have a nice vibe. It’s a solid, small neighborhood gym.

I did the 8 classes per month membership. The classes were often overbooked, very little space. It wasn’t worth it to me.Additionally, I did about 3-4 classes in my first month. It’s reflected on my profile and payment history. I went to cancel my membership for the second month, but because I did not do it 10 days prior to the pay schedule, I lost $120. It is my fault for canceling too late, BUT I still reached out to upper management to see if there was any way they could refund me, as it clearly shows how many classes I’ve taken AND I reached out during the BEGINNING of the month. However, I was denied. Love the people the workers at the location, they helped me to submit a refund request form. But, I’m disappointed in the handling of this situation by higher management.

Convenient location, friendly staff, nice variety of classes. Women’s locker rooms were very tight at peak hours.

I've been going to mint for 6 months now. I have had really good experiences with several different aspects of the gym. the place is really clean and nice. For the most part, people also seem to pick up after themselves after using a machine. There is plenty of equipment for any kind of workout you might wanna have. There is a lot of squat racks, bench press, benches, etc... only thing I would add is maybe another pec fly machine(always has one or two people using it). My favorite amenities were the sauna, cold towels and coffee machine.

The gym is just okay and I have decided to leave. As others have noted, there is an addtional fee you must pay each year that is not clearly disclosed. One only has to go to their current web site and look at the rates to see it is not disclosed. I don't like businesses that are not upfront and transparent. The cleanliness is also not great. Their air intake grates are totally disgusting and womans showers can get gross. And, the temperature is way too warm for a great cardio workout. Also, no paper towels in the bathrooms. I like the committment to the real towels, but sometimes I just need a paper towel. And while Bresni is nice, she's ineffective.

I'm stuck with hidden fees, including a facilities fee that wasn't obvious in the contract. Limited number of machines.

Tried a few different gyms last year and landed on Mint. Small gym, but has a lot of variety and everything you need to get in any type of workout. Generally isn't ever too packed, rarely have to wait for stuff. Also had to take a three month leave and they were able to put my account on pause. Have never taken any of the classes, so can't speak on that. Definitely worth trying out.

Mint is fantastic! We love coming here for classes, personal training and so much more. Instructors are all great and so friendly - really giving Mint a community feeling. Added perks are definitely the Minty towels and coffee.

Just made the switch to MINT and could not be happier. The facility is welcoming, immaculately clean, filled with natural light, and offers a wonderful array of equipment. I have yet to try the classes but the line up is impressive.

Wonderful gym! The classes (barre, yoga and rhythm ride in particular) are excellent, and the instructors are so friendly and helpful. The team are also very responsive to any questions or issues over email. Very sad to be leaving DC and leaving MINT!

Terrible gym.Subpar facilities.They have a predatory cancellation policy. If they reply to this review like they do to all the negative ones, please note that I was aware of the contract stating that you need to provide ten days notice for cancellation. However, one of their employees told me that doing it online was instantaneous. Why would I not believe an employee? After informing their management, they refused to provide a refund for a mistake made by one of their own employees.They have a veneer of kindness but they are just as bad as any gym but charge exorbitant prices for you to deal with their nonsense. Save your money and go somewhere else, all you’re missing out on are soggy towels and a sauna that’s broken most of the time.

I loved using this gym. It’s the best priced one in the area with everything you need in it. Really has that neighborhood gym feel. All the managers and trainers are great people and take the time to get to know you. I’m sad that I’m moving away from it. Def recommend!

Best gym member experience I've had and I've been a member at a variety of gyms (LA Fitness, 24 hour fitness, Equinox). Love supporting a local fitness studio.Pros: Clean facilities, modern equipment, friendly staff, eco friendly (no paper towels in the bathroom), eucalyptus spa towels.Cons: None - wish they had a MINT in California.Most appreciative of MINT's flexible and easy membership process. Super easy to sign up, pause membership if traveling, and cancel. Only cancelled because I'm leaving the area.

Love this gym! The staff is super friendly, the facilities are always clean and the gym isn't overcrowded after 5 which is amazing. My favorite part is the dry sauna which is perfect after a workout. The towels provided are a great bonus and the gym has a minty smell to it, and the equipment is well maintained. Would def recommend to anyone passing by and local to DC!
