Both cookbooks by Marcella are staples in my kitchen, and her shop is a go-to for all types of inspiring gifts. Her artistry is intentional and she offers a wide variety of ways to enjoy her illustrations. If you're in the DC area, sign up for a watercolor & cocktail workshop. It was one of the funnest experiences!

Love the citrus art print! The best place to grab gifts, stickers and occasional greeting cards for friends and family while making great connections with the arts walk community.

I am so glad we found this hidden gem! We were heading to the metro and wandered into this beautiful store filled with magical artwork. We were actually helped by the artist her-self!! Marcella was so kind and patient with us. We had so many questions as we picked out the perfect gifts for our family and she took the time to answer every one of them. I will be back!!

Long-time fan of Marcella's work. Always fresh take on watercolor design with food-centric themes that include thoughtful design touches. As a person and an artist, always supporting social justice causes that make me want to continue to support her work into the future. Gifts abound! Support a great person and a wonderful artist.

Art for every occasion! Truly, Marcie draws it all! I particularly love her botanical / plant based art, but have gifted tea towels, prints, notecards, calendars, and cook books to many of my family members and friends over the years! It’s near impossible to go into a house in West Philly and not see a Marcie print - but with so many themes to choose from (think: food, plants, cocktails, quotes, community organizing, hopes for the future) you’re bound to find a print that makes you smile. I know for every print I love, there are three more that I know a loved one will love too.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere, delightful artwork for gifts and for personal use, and helpful advice when you can't make up your mind--who could ask for more?

I have purchased four of Marcella’s prints and I love them. I had one set of three framed in my office and so many people complemented them. Then I retired, so they now hang in a prized spot in my kitchen. I also gave a print to my husband as a birthday gift. Her work is beautiful and whimsical and just makes me smile. Also, I love getting her emails (which is something I ordinarily dislike) because she gives info about her own studio and classes, as well as updates on other arts events. She is incredibly talented, keeps her work fresh and seems truly committed to her community. VP Harris shops at Marcella’s studio, so you can’t go wrong!

Treat yourself to Marcella art! I have her cookbooks, prints framed in my kitchen, even coloring sheets created by Marcella and they all bring me joy every day! And just as soon as she sets up her “on location” paint nights again...buy tickets! It was one of my favorite memories from my time working in D.C.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Marcella's work. I love food illustration and found her on Etsy and when I realized she was in DC, I went to one of the Holiday Markets where she had a booth. Needless to say, I spent my paycheck there on gifts. I'm thrilled that there is a brick-and-mortar location at Brookland (right off the metro). Highly recommend. I visit often (even if I don't get anything!)

One of her prints changed my life. When I saw this Mexican proverb I was moved; I decided nothing was going to destroy me because I was a seed. This one is at the entrance of my garden but since I have bought 3 more pieces of her prints. One of the best pieces of art you can buy in DC.
