We have purchased a number of appliances from M&M over the years and have always had good service with no problems. Recently, we replaced a 10 year old Bosch dishwasher (also bought from M&M) with a newer model, and we had excellent dealings with Derek and good help from Clayton. Installation/delivery were quick and seamless.

Small Street. Have to back in off the street. The workers are Awesome?Two on the street stopping traffic so you can back in with peace of mind. Unloaded quickly.The pictures speak for themselves.I parked there overnight. Not a place for the faint of heart.

We just purchased a washer/dryer from Germaine at the Blair Rd location. Germaine was a pleasure to work with. We had his full attention and he was knowledgable about all the different washer/dryer combos. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped us to select a w/d combo that would fit in our tight laundry room and was available for immediately delivery..Today Lucas and Marc (of the M&M installation dept) came to install the W/D. Once again, we were incredibly impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail. They are in an amazing team! They were in and out in no time at all and gave us a much better set up than we had originally! Cannot say enough good things about them!We'll definitely be back to M&M!

M & M responded immediately upon receiving this review. The owner committed to replacing the damaged door and apologized for what went wrong.As a result - I’m revising the rating I provided and will fully edit once the freezerdoor has been replaced.M&M restored my faith in this local business that I have used many times in the past.Older review:Wanting to support local businesses, I have used M&M for appliances in two kitchen renovations and several washer-dryers. I had no problems in the past. However, the current lack of response to a damaged refrigerator is unacceptable.Knowing there are supply chain issues, I bought appliances well in advance of the kitchen work.When my contractor was finally able to unbox and install the refrigerator, we discovered damage to the freezer door so severe it could not have come after being brought to my home.M&M has been unresponsive to my request for them to address this damage.

Good prices, but delivery/installation rarely goes well. Delivery team is totally unresponsive and installers are barely competent.

Bought a Frigidaire from M&M (DC location). First, the salesperson was a know-it-all and kept interrupting my husband when we were asking about brands. Second, their available refrigerators was slim. We were desperate as our refrigerator broke and we needed a replacement ASAP. That limited our selection. Third, when the installers came they did not align the doors properly, they did not help us make the refrigerator level. They just said the floors were uneven so that was how the refrigerator would look. Not true because after they left we added some furniture sliders underneath and evened it out. Next morning we work up all our food was frozen in the refrigerator! We tried to increase the settings to a higher than recommended temperature to no avail. We lost a week's worth of groceries ($300)!!! So we called M&M. We were told we had to deal with Frigidaire who would send a tech out a week and a half later. We said we need a working fridge and they said this is how we would have to deal with the issue. We asked "can't you come and pick up this dud and just give us a replacement?" They said "we are a small business and we cannot handle the inventory." Really? It's a one for one swap?!! The Frigidaire guy came out 2 days ago and the refrigerator seems to be working (fingers crossed). That said, while I try to support small businesses to be treated like this is insane (particularly when I've bought appliances from them before). Next time I'll go to a big box store like Costco who will happily replace a defective item.

M&M Appliance does not stand behind their products and use excuses when something goes wrong. Their sales team does not know the questions to ask when purchasing appliances and have to come back multiple times to properly install. I will NEVER buy from this company again.

Avoid this store. They will sell you defective appliances and will not help. I wanted to support a local business and that was my mistake. Go to any other store that has a 48-hour return policy. I spent almost $6,000 at this store to purchase a washer, dryer, and a dishwasher. The only easy part was placing an order and paying for it. After that – they are a pain to deal with. I had to keep calling to find out when they were planning to deliver/install the appliances. They were very difficult to work with if you have a busy schedule. The installation process was ok. However, on first use the dryer started making loud rattling noises. I notified M&M Appliance immediately. Their response was: too bad this is happening to you, we can’t do anything for you, deal with the manufacturer. The owner of the company did not even bother to respond to my emails. To top it off, the washer broke one month later. Now I am dealing with the manufacturer to fix 2 brand new VERY EXPENSIVE appliances. M&M was very unhelpful and unresponsive and absolutely refused to replace a defective dryer that they sold me.

Very unhappy with M&M Appliance. From my experience, they are sales people. They will happily talk to you when purchasing a product, but will disappear if anything goes wrong afterwards.I purchased an electric range from their Alexandria location. I was told it would take 2 months to arrive. 2 months go by and I hear nothing. I emailed my sales rep - no response (I understand it was just an estimate, but all I wanted was an update). I called their location and reached a different sales person - who informed me that it was ready to be delivered (how long it had been ready, I have no idea), but he rushed me off the phone and told me talk to my sales rep without scheduling the delivery. I guess he didn't have 3 minutes to help me. I finally get in touch with my sales rep, and the delivery gets scheduled.Anyway, the delivery happens and the range was defective - two of the top burners would not turn on. The delivery guys try to reach my salesperson but cannot. According to them, they talked to their supervisor and they would be sending a technician to look at it and see if it could be fixed, but be careful using the range in the meantime in case they have to take it back.I was extremely hesitant to keep a defective range, but we were switching from gas to electric so our old one no longer worked, and if we didn't keep the new range, we would be completely without an oven for who knows how long (the original took two months to arrive). So I wrote up the problem on the delivery slip, and was assured someone would be in touch about having someone take a look at it. A day goes by, nothing. Two days, nothing. I reached out to my salesperson and hear nothing in return.At the end of the day I was thankfully able to troubleshoot the problem myself. But look, I went to M&M for better, more personal service than I receive at any big box store. If that is not what I am going to get, well then I might as well just buy from Costco, Home Depot, Best Buy, etc. My experience with those places has never involved being lied to my face by the delivery guys, rushed off the phone because it wasn't "my" salesperson, and otherwise not responded to when saying I've been delivered a defective product and what happened to the technician I was promised.Also, not sure you should trust the 5-star reviews. One of them was added by my salesperson...P.S. If the delivery guys were contractors from a different company, I suggest M&M get a new company to deliver the products. Either way, it doesn't excuse my salesperson never responding to my emails.

We purchased a Blomberg gas range at the end of 2020. We went with a local store in order to help local folks especially since it was during the pandemic. With installation it cost about $2600. This was a real splurge for us. In early November, I called for service because the oven was not heating properly. I was told I'd get a call back, but never did. I called and left two more messages and emailed the owner directly. Still no response. Now the warranty has expired. I'm waiting on another company to come service it and hope it's not terribly expensive. But I will not shop at M&M again and will deter anyone who asks me about them. Not a great way to do business.

I recently visited the new store in Bel Air, MD looking for a refrigerator. Kevin and Marna were great to work with! I came in knowing most of what I wanted and they helped me find it on-line and in their warehouse. Kevin was very responsive and scheduled a quick delivery. They were honest and didn’t push to upsell me a more expensive appliance. I would recommend them and I will be back if I need any other new appliances.
