“This is the best dry cleaners I've ever used. Period. Ganchi is the woman who operates the place, and she is so exacting about every last detail. She is also just such a nice woman. You never need your ticket because she memorizes your name. If something comes back less than perfect, she proactively sends it out again to be re-done. I had to move away for a year, and I really missed having such an exceptional dry cleaners nearby. I think the bad ratings that some people gave must have been before Ganchi started running the place. She is just exceptional, and I would find it hard to believe that anyone could have a bad experience with her.”

“I've gone to Amax consistently for over a year and they're the best dry cleaning service in the area. I don't know why the reviews are so bad (maybe management turned over). I've only experienced absolute hospitality, flexibility, and professionalism from the Women who work here. Prices are consistent and fair, and everything comes back clean and well-handled. They also have a tailor who comes weekly to do alterations, and they do an amazing job. I've had multiple pairs of pants altered at the waist, hip, and ankle to satisfaction. I've seen others have leather/pleather worked on as well. The team is super hardworking and will take time to talk to you about more bespoke issues, like cashmere that's been shrunken or odd stains that won't come out.I don't normally leave reviews, but this place needs a rating closer to 5 stars.”

“I visited The Family Laundromat this morning to do a small load of laundry. I was pleasantly surprised. The location is clean and the employees were friendly. Prices were fair. The hot wash cycle was actually hot. Every other laundromat I’ve visited in the area the hot water cycle is cold. I highly recommend this location.”

“My partner and I do all of our dry cleaning here - wedding dress and suit, work blouses and pants; anything that needs dry cleaning, we get it done here. The service here has been great, and we’ve had no issues at all getting our clothes on time. Even though we have a few dry cleaning places closer to us, we have been so satisfied with this place that it’s worth the extra time to come here. Highly recommend!”

“This is my go to place for cleaning and restoring all my shoes. It was much easier to take my favorite pair of Js or Air Max to have them refreshed rather than trying to find them again and paying the high prices now. In a time of things being so exspensive this place is a def go to for me. Also you can donate shoes so if you have shoes you do not know what to do with donate them so they can go to someone that needs them.”

I had a dress(tuxedo) shirt damaged here once, years ago, and she covered the replacement cost. This remains my go-to place, and it should be yours.”

“I did laundry on new year eve. About 5:15 they locked doors so everyone could go home. Okay cool. The staff to everyone that were closing early due to new year eve. But, they never stated 6pm unless you asked them even them seem a lil unsure about that time. Paying customers had just start drying clothes . Another customer clothes were still washing and the janitor was trying to rush me others to hurry up and finish kindly ask the staff to check the lent drawer. It never got done. Janitor was telling me to push the start button on the dryers after I saw the green light and at the same time was trying be smart. Then the janitor had audacity to try to argue with me when I told him the machines were started. The floors were not swept or mopped when I walked into this laundromat. Other these issues the staff were kind and helpful”

“Let us not fool ourselves. The laundromat section, next to the dry cleaners, is small but what it lacks in size it makes up for in Ron. The attendant, Ron, runs a tight ship and is extremely helpful. He brings a cart out to me when I arrived and gave me the low down on the laundromat and area. I watched him do this with everyone that arrived. He is an extremely helpful soul. I used to go to Logan Laundromat as it is closer to my place. I mourned its loss at first but conversations with Ron have more than made up for the loss. Get there early if you do not want to wait. Their dry cleaners next door is also better than most. The owner is nice as well. But he is no Ron...”

“Neighbors Cleaners is the best in the city - truly. I lived nearby their location for many years and they always had incredible service (including altering my wedding dress and several minor alterations over the years!). When I moved a couple of miles away, I stopped going here to find a closer service. It wasn't until I tried out 2-3 other locations that I realized that Neighbors is truly the most reliable service with the best prices in the area, so I'm giving them back my business. The 2 miles to get here is worth it for the service.”
