Not worth a word or a minute of time to write. Their service deserves way less than my one minute.

The Southern Ave SE location is garbage. Do yourself a favor and do not go there. I made an appointment and went there for my glucose tolerance text. All the Labcorp staffs were disrespectful and unprofessional. The girl that was at the reception was looking for excuses and sending everyone away without performing thier texts!!! For me she said they didn't have the 100 ml liquid for my test. She could have used 2 of the 50 ml. That is what they told me when I got to a different location and I also knew that myself. She told the other lady that came after me that because she didn't have her physical insurance card she could not do anything with the poor sick lady. The lady explained to her that her insurance information was already in the Labcorp System as she is a labcorp regular client. The Lapcorp's agent refused to listen to her and send her away as she did with everyone else. When I arrived at the other location where I finally got my text done, I ask the receptionist if she needed my physical insurance card; her reply was if I was at labcorp before and if there is any update on my insurance after my last visit. When I told her I was a labcorp client and there was not update on my insurance , she said she didn't need it since it was already in the system. Of cause everyone knows that. That was opposite to what the girl at the Southern Ave SE location told a lady to send her away without doing her test. I usually don't write reviews but I am just trying to save everyone time: go to a different location if you have not time to waste!

People working there were fine. The check in process was speedy and effective. The facility however was dirty and did not make me think of a medical facility. I was there for a urinalysis/bacteria culture and the restroom where I was supposed to give the sample did not have hand soap…let alone castille soap wipes necessary to make it a true clean catch sample. Makes me question the validity of the sample.

The employee at the front desk is nice, thorough and does her job very well. Even though she does the work of more than 1 person she gets it done. It would be helpful if management sent her more people to help her. She does everything I THANK her !!!!!

horrible location. showed up at 1215 for lab work. they had put a piece of paper on their door saying they were "closed for lunch until 1pm" although the location does not close for lunch. they made us all sit in the hallway for an hour while we waited for their fake lunch break to end. then when i checked in, i told the lady at the front desk i only wanted to do some (and not all) the labs on my order to which the lady replied i "HAD" to do everything that was ordered. i told her that, as a patient, it is my right to refuse certain services to which she said "and it's my right not to draw your blood." EXCUSE ME?! not only is this unprofessional, this is a direct violation of my rights as a patient and the DC Patient's Bill of Rights. I've contacted LabCorp about this issue a million times and have barely heard from anyone. a "phlebotomist manager" from DC called me but was not able to provide me with a resolution. i asked to speak to corporate but apparently no human seems to work there as i am not getting a response to my emails. I ended filing a complaint with the DC Dept of health because this is ridiculous. Oh, and turns out the location doesn't close for lunch. the staff just shuts down the office cause they feel like it.

Worst service ever!! Labcorp needs to check on its employees and how they treat customers. I was in this location looking for service on October 21/2022. I was unfortunate to meet with the agent called Tabitha T. (phlebotomiest). She has a very bad attitude. She called me in to the room to collect the sample. When she started to put the tourniquet on my bare skin, I told her I have a sensitive skin and asked if she could put it on top of my cloth instead. She got mad because I requested so and she said "leave the room I am not going to do it. If you could draw the sample you wouldn't come here. Leave the room." I was shocked by the response as I didn't do anything wrong. I told her politely that I need the service and stayed in the room. I asked for a supervisor but there was none. Later on she collected the sample and told me to leave the room for the second time. She did not put the labels on the samples she collected while I was in the room. Who knows if she is not going mix them with other people's sample. Terrible service for the money I paid. Never recommend any one to get service in this location. Very poor customer service!!!

Being from Charlotte NC, recently moving to DC, this is was my first time having an I&R done at the Southern avenue location in DC. The check in system was a challenge but what I found overwhelming was that they made a copy of my debit card front and back for a mere charge of 89cents. I am very SUSPECT of this so I probably will get in touch with my bank because of Trust Issues! The Phebotomist was awesome and polite..quick fast and professional. But I am worried about my banking information being secured and possibly compromised. My fixed income gives me no room for being robbed!

I mean is it the lab tech's fault that I didn't print out my lab request before I got there? No. But saying "It needs to be printed out" when there is literally a printer on your desk definitely grated my nerves a little. I feel like if I was sitting there I would have just said "Email it to us" and just printed it out right there. Whole process would have taken 60 seconds. But sure. I'll go find an office max and come back. I wouldn't want to trouble you to click a mouse 5 times?
