We had the absolute best experience with Faatima from Knot Standard DC! She was knowledgeable and had a great eye for detail and design. My husband's wedding tux was exactly what we envisioned, and even from a different state, Faatima was able to problem solve and fix anything that needed to be fixed. We were so impressed with her ability to understand the alterations needed just from a Zoom call. We will recommend Knot Standard to anyone!

Siobhan at Knot Standard was so great in helping me design a suit for my wedding. From the start she helped with all of the decisions (which is extra appreciated for those of us who might be on the more indecisive end). She was very communicative every step of the way. And in the end, the suit perfectly matched the setting of our wedding and looked terrific. Can't recommend enough!

Faatima has been an amazing partner. She has a great eye - a keen attention to detail- and followed through on her promises.With custom products— there’s a higher probability of manufacturing errors or delays. How these incidents are handled are what sets apart each clothier/ stylist for me.I’ve worked with a handful of clothiers from various companies - Faatima and her team are hands down the best.

I had a great experience getting a suit made for my wedding. The custom suit fit great and I received many compliments from our guest (and most importantly) the bride.I also had them make a custom shirt for the suit which worked great. I also am looking forward to wearing my suit again for other occasions as it is not so fancy that it would look out of place.

Knot Standard is great place for something bespoke. Their staff is very professional and easy to work with. Every detail is considered and their products are top notch. Went in for a particular suit I found they made and ending up getting exactly what I wanted. They did a custom shirt to match and they threw in an entire suit free of charge. A+

I came to Knot Standard in March 2023 as a first-time client needing a new suit for a friend's wedding. I could not have asked for a better experience. The stylist I worked with, Emily Blumberh, is a consummate pro who provided impeccable style advice and service from start to finish. The suit arrived on time, looked great, and fit perfectly. I needed a suit for my engagement party, and a close friend referred me to Knot Standard. This was my first time buying a custom suit.I scheduled an appointment with Faatima for a week from now, and after messing up my schedule I showed up when she wasn’t expecting me. She was understanding and flexible, and she assisted me anyway. She was helpful, personable, and knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend Faatima and Knot Standard. I look forward to getting my next suit from her.

I can’t recommend Emily Blumberh enough for all of your custom tailoring, fashion, and styling needs. Simply put, she is outstanding at what she does, treats you like family, and will make you feel/look your absolute best.As likely most patrons are when they first walk into Knot Standard, I was new to the experience of custom fashion and styling. Via referral from a close friend (who had glowing things to say), I was put in touch with Emily and visited the Knot Standard DC location to inquire about a custom outfit for my wedding rehearsal dinner. Emily went above and beyond to both welcome me and educate me on the store’s processes, as well as remained patient as I narrowed down what color, fabric, stitching, and a plethora of other options I wanted (the options truly are endless). It was important to me to select an outfit that would work for the rehearsal dinner, but could also be worn to the office/ other formal events, and Emily guided me to something wearable throughout the year - pointing out and confirming every detail and custom measurement. Turnaround time was as expected, if not faster, and as soon as the full outfit came in I was beyond impressed.So impressed in fact, that I cancelled an appointment to try on wedding tuxedos at another store and immediately asked Emily to help me design a custom tux for my wedding day. I told her I wanted to look and feel like James Bond from Casino Royale and she more than delivered. We went through the same process as before with the same care, swiftness, and attention to detail (consistency is important and she knocks it out of the park). She even ordered me an extra pair of tux pants at a different length since I was torn on two different pairs of shoes to wear for the big day. Once the tux came in and I tried it all on, I was so thankful to have chosen Knot Standard and relied on Emily’s expertise – the fit, craftsmanship, and comfortability was out of this world.Huge thanks to Emily for helping me look and feel my best during such a momentous weekend. No matter what your styling needs are, you will not regret giving her a visit.

Great experience!I stopped in for measurements and a new button-up dress shirt and Siobhan did an amazing job helping me pick out something that suits my exact style. She was very professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and most of all friendly! When my shirt arrived it fit perfectly and I’ve gotten many compliments. I highly recommend Knot Standard and Siobhan!

I love Knot Standard. I've never been a custom clothing guy, but this place made me a believer. My style advisor in DC, Emily Blumberh, made all of the suits for my wedding party and the guests absolutely loved them. I recently had her make me a pair of blazers and I couldn't be happier. If you need to upgrade your wardrobe, you should give Emily a call.

I have been more than pleased with the service here. My stylist Emily is beyond what I could ever hope for, she would not release my first custom suit until it was absolutely perfect. Since then, I’ve had coats and jackets made, all of which have garnered me many compliments and photo opportunities.Emily is a quality human, her sense of humor, attention to detail, timeliness and creativity have given me and the people I’ve referred the best experiences.The team at the Knot Standard is very welcoming and warm. I even had an opportunity to meet the owner of the company socially and even he was so very gracious and kind.I am very confident at sending my friends and work associates here, moreover to Emily. It has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made.

I highly recommend Executive Stylist, Emily Blumberh, and Knot Standard to anyone looking for a tuxedo or suit that fits like a glove and makes them feel like a million dollars.This was my first experience purchasing a custom-tailored suit (a tuxedo for my wedding), so I was very meticulous in choosing fabrics, color, style, accessories, etc. -- being indecisive at times. Emily was not only patient with me, she was honest and gave me real talk about what would and would not work, and what I'd look great in. She had my best interest in mind, so I put my entire trust in her and her expertise. Once I decided on a general look, she gave me advice on every little piece of detail and I am so glad I followed all her recommendations. Not only did the tuxedo fit perfectly, I was extremely happy with all the accessories and details Emily suggested: from advising to not wear a watch (because one should not be concerned about the time on your wedding day) to silk over-the-calf socks that the pants don't cling to.They truly exceeded my expectations and made our wedding day even more special by making me look worthy of standing next to my beautiful wife. I'm looking forward to working with Emily again and adding more Knot Standard looks to my wardrobe!
