I purchased a tuxedo for my son's wedding this spring - the first time I'd ever purchased formal wear - and Emily's expertise, service, and overall warm and caring approach made the whole experience absolutely perfect. We had the absolute best experience with Faatima from Knot Standard DC! She was knowledgeable and had a great eye for detail and design. My husband's wedding tux was exactly what we envisioned, and even from a different state, Faatima was able to problem solve and fix anything that needed to be fixed. We were so impressed with her ability to understand the alterations needed just from a Zoom call. We will recommend Knot Standard to anyone!

Siobhan at Knot Standard was so great in helping me design a suit for my wedding. From the start she helped with all of the decisions (which is extra appreciated for those of us who might be on the more indecisive end). She was very communicative every step of the way. And in the end, the suit perfectly matched the setting of our wedding and looked terrific. Can't recommend enough!

I wear suits everyday and have been buying custom suits for years. I graduated from custom suits made in Thailand to shopping at another luxury tailor in DC. And then I found Knot Standard and I will never return to my old ways. I was paired with Emily who walked me through the plethora of fabrics and customizing options with grace and an incredible eye for fashion. The array of choices is staggering; you can truly create something no one else will ever have! And it isn't just the quantity of fabrics, but the quality as well. I couldn't recommend Emily and Knot Standard highly enough!
Almost 5 years later and Knot Standard continues to be the only place I’ll shop for suits. Emily is a key reason for that commitment. She has helped guide my style journey and is the person who will never hesitate to answer a question on what I should wear.
