My 3 year old son has been going to Kid Village for almost 7 months now and we absolutely love it. They are very flexible and have great hours. I can see the growth and learning every day! The teachers are able to separate the younger and older toddlers so they get more 1 on 1 time and best of all, the children seem very happy there. I will note, my son had terrible separation anxiety when he first started going and was not great at taking naps, but the teachers were extremely patient with him! When I see my son interact with the other kids/“friends” as he calls them, they give him hugs whenever he comes and goes and love to share toys with him. My son has learned to count to ten in Spanish and has learned the primary colors in Spanish. The daycare is also great at keeping parents in the loop through the ‘Child Pilot App”, where parents receive updates on the curriculum, potty/diaper changes, when they have taken a nap and share pictures of their activities. It’s very nice to know that he is in a caring environment while he isn’t home. If you live in Shepherd Park or a nearby neighborhood, I would definitely recommend.
