I want to love you Jade Fitness, I really do. But I often feel I'm working out at someone's passion project and not at a real gym. Things I like: - small class size - evening classes - accommodating to specific needs of class participants - convenient location - Negatives - entry to the space is a challenge - communication not great, I tried to set up meeting with a personal trainer and never heard back. I emailed, told the guy at the front desk, but never had anyone reach out. I gave up. Do I recommend, yes but not for personal training since I never figured out how to set it up.

I love the yoga classes at Jade and have been attending them for 5-6 years. I really appreciate the virtual classes at this time.

Truly Herbert told me about her online yoga class through Jade Fitness. I had taken previous classes with her. Her sessions include varied movements tailored for all participants. As a side, she guides the class with her engaging and positive personality. Truly is the best and I hope your online classes continue so I can be part of your yoga classes.

I used Jade Fitness for its "Gym Time," so I can't comment on the trainers or any particular class. With that said, Jade is a wonderful minimalistic gym, super clean, has a welcoming and kind staff, and great equipment (including squat-racks).

The yoga teachers are very good. They give helpful instruction, vary the classes so they do not get routine or boring, and are friendly. I go from time to time to other yoga studios that get more customers, but for the above reasons, I've returned to my teachers at Jade for years

The yoga classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings especially are great. Good and helpful teaching for all levels. I have been going there for years.

I LOVE MY JADE FITNESS FAMILY!!! This past summer, I finally decided it was time for me to get back into a gym because I was struggling sticking to working out on my own. I have NEVER been one that did or really enjoyed group classes. I've known about Jade for awhile since it's just a block from my apartment and neighbors always talk about how great it is on our hood Facebook group. After talking to a few people to see if Jade would be a good fit for me, I decided it was! I figured that working out with other people would help keep me accountable in my goals and boy was I right! I started going to a variety of classes so I could figure out which formats and which instructors would work best for me. It quickly became apparent that Jen was the instructor I was looking for and I religiously went to her classes several times per week. I typically would do her Cardio Core and Jade Force classes and would throw in the occasional Weekend Warrior or other class for good measure (both Stephen and Garrett G. are also amazing to work with). I was nervous when I first started attending classes because I had big goals and was worried I wouldn't be able to keep up. But all of the trainers I've worked with have made a point to give me modifications when needed and help me with my form, etc. I soon became comfortable with everyone and haven't looked back! With the help of all the amazing staff at Jade, I hit 40lbs lost in only a few months and am very close to my overall goal weight! I'm so glad I decided to take the plunge and join Jade, don't know how I went so long without this awesome gym in my life!

I took classes with Garrett Giles and was duly impressed. He was funny, relaxed, and provided clear instructions (with postural corrections when necessary). His workouts are well structured with a mix of exercises...familiar and novel, stationary (i.e. lifting) and dynamic, and overall really challenging and fun. Since it was a Saturday class -- it was nice to know that he coordinates with the Sunday instructor (Stephen) on which exercises they would incorporate so as not to over exert certain muscle groups. (You certainly don't get that sort of concern at a big box workout warehouse). I was also happy to see that several of the instructors had a strong background in exercise science and kinesiology. This helps enormously when it comes to their understanding of preventing, mitigating, and working around injuries.

A great gym. I've been going regularly for over a year and am extremely satisfied. The front desk staff is exceptional. Trainers like Garrett Thomas, Steve Burgett, Jennifer Sylvester and Garrett Giles are outstanding. Their knowledge is deep and they are really focused on each individuals needs. The overall vibe/environment is welcoming and warm.

I go to Jade to see my personal trainer, Garrett Giles. I can't believe I haven't written a review yet - my experience has been wonderful! For about 2 years I've been working out with Garrett in personal training. He draws on his JMU education in physical fitness, as well as intensive data tracking, to create and build upon my fitness program each week. In my time seeing him, I've lost over 20 pounds. He's motivating and makes every session feel positive and valuable - and I've experienced the results to prove that his methods work! I'm so grateful to Garrett and the Jade team for making me a little bit stronger each week!

I tried out Jade Fitness for the first time via Classpass. I came for the HIIT It Cardio class and apparently it was their first time offering this class. I enjoyed that it was a small group class size and Jen was a great instructor. I'll definitely be back.

Love love love training here. Great variety of classes. All of the instructors are so knowledgeable and friendly, they are great about understanding where you are fitness wise and modifying exercises to fit your needs.

I have been a client for 6 months now. The small group personal trainer classes are great. They really take care of their client. Very helpful and friendly team. I definitely recommend them.
