Great location - just minutes from the Mall and all the sights. Breakfast really good and staff just lovely.
Walkability: Easy walk down to the National Mall. Spy museum literally next door.

The good: Location above the metro and close to the mall and wharf, no nasty carpet in the rooms, outdoor pool, Starbucks downstairs.
The bad: lack of quality control on the housekeeping (sheets plus the fitted sheet had blood on them…not sure if these were even cleaned), ice maker/water dispenser on our floor was broken, rooms are definitely humid even with AC, and the 15th floor (maybe all floors?) smell like Burger King smoke/grease in the hallways in the later half of the day and the evening which was both weird and gross.
Overall: Worth it for the location and some of the cleanness factors (flooring choice), but some broken/little things in the hotel and the hotel rooms (sink drain was broken, weak water pressure, everything else I’ve mentioned) make you feel like you’re feeding the Hilton machine your money and they don’t care about your experience in turn. Which is most ordinary Hiltons, honestly.

We liked the Hilton Washington DC the Wharf and would definitely come again in this hotel.
Pros: Location, closeness to everything, closeness to the Wharf. Room was also bigger than most other hotel in DC.
Cons: Parking was not easy with a large car (suburban). I had to park in Ronald Reagan building in town and commute. Food options were limited in the near surroundings.
Overall a good choice for DC (at a fairly reasonable price).
Rooms: The room was larger than most other hotels in DC

This would have been an easy 5 star experience just because you can get a room with two king beds. This was before I had the breakfast. It is so infuriating that they can get away with CHARGING $30 for the most MID meal I’ve ever had. Bland eggs, dry sausage, barely any fresh fruit. I’ve had better breakfasts at the Holiday Inn, this is a straight up robbery. They should NOT be able to get away with this ???
DON’T GET THE BREAKFAST
Finding the elevators is kind of confusing, they were off to the side. Not sure how we would have known that. As far as the rooms go, they were clean. Our room was pretty humid/wet-feeling all night though, even with ac blasting. Need a better humidifier or something. The bathroom lights are on a timer, so when you’re taking a shower they shut off like 4 times. You then have to get out and wave your hand to turn them back on. Beds were nice. We were kept up most the night by thin walls and hearing people yelling in halls.
One more thing, we got back to our room like 3 minutes after the check-out time, and they LOCKED US OUT OF OUR ROOM. What is the point of this? If you want the rooms to be ready faster, doesn’t it take longer to have the guest go all the way down to ask the front desk to unlock our room, and then go all the way back up the slow elevators?
Overall, it was eh.

Nearby activities: Don't park here that he will never pick up your car. You will wait and wait.

The worst experience ever. I do not recommend it at all.

Everything was really perfect here :o)
Spacious room (also for 3 to 4 people), nicely furnished, not noisy, very comfortable and large beds, good blackout, very nice staff, nice, big enough pool, perfect location and a really good breakfast.
The breakfast was in no way similar to other American hotel breakfasts. Large selection, good quality, friendly service and dishes (dishes are rather unusual at hotel breakfasts, unfortunately very often otherwise just paper plates, etc.)
We would book it again at any time!
Rooms: Very clean, spacious and comfortable.
Walkability: Many museums in "The National Mall" and the harbor are within walking distance. The route to the Capitol can also be managed. You should only use the subway to the White House.
Food & drinks: Very good breakfast!

We came through DC just for one night and we were trying to find a room that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. This room was actually the cheapest one we found and it showed good reviews so we went for it. Turns out… it’s the nicest hotel either one of us have ever stayed in before! So modern and clean. We were thoroughly impressed with our stay here. Would definitely be back if we come through DC again!
Not to mention it was close to literally everything! We hopped on the Lyft scooters (conveniently parked on the side of the hotel) and rode around downtown. We really enjoyed the full size Starbucks in the lobby too!

Hotel location is great to the L’enfant metro stop. Was hard to figure out how to get in at first but once you know it’s easy. Hotel is clean and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and beds are king size! My only complaint is the bathroom which has a full length window with blinds covering it and then a barn door with a large clouded window. Anytime the light is on in there (like overnight) it is SUPER bright and illuminates the whole room. I don’t understand the design choice at all!! The barn door also makes a loud noise when closing. Shower curtain doesn’t go down low enough for keeping water out.

Great stay over the 4th, five nights. Room was a great size for family of four (11 & 8). Two king beds were a unique plus. Room was clean and ample towels provided each day. Another nice touch is the rooftop pool. Very nice to cool off after walking around the city. Location is phenomenal if you are looking for easy access to metro or walk to the monuments. Front desk staff was super courteous. Aleks checked us in, and was very accommodating with room selection. We were able to benefit from a very generous breakfast offer, so each day we started with a meal and coffee. The wait staff was attentive and quick to help. Also, the air conditioning was great, and given the 96 degree weather, important. Of all the Hilton properties I have stayed at, and I have stayed at a lot, the front desk staff at this property ranks among the best I have experienced. Front Desk, Bar, Breakfast, Room Attendant, and the super nice guy that brought towels to the pool were all very friendly and very helpful.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous!!!! Literally walking distance from the boardwalk and ALL the museums and attractions. I can't wait to go back to DC mainly because this hotel was a highlight of my stay.
Walkability: Everything is walking distance
