“Love having this store in the neighborhood! Great selection of plants. Really appreciated how kind and knowledgeable the team here is, especially Pernell and Harper.”
“This is a small neighborhood hardware store but they keep an impressive array of hardware, tools, paint, garden, and "lifestyle" items for most DIY projects. Where the big box stores are geared to accommodate contractors, Annie's aims for the individual and their residence. Staff is always friendly, the store is well staffed for their size so there's always someone available for questions or assistance. I really appreciate a hardware store that can still operate in the neighborhood without leveling 15 acres. Factoring in my time and general frustration with large box stores, the prices for a quick trip down the street are competitive with other options.”
“The level of customer service here is excellent. I have a retrofitted grooming van with all kinds of custom hoses and fittings. One of them broke and I had a major leak. I explained my problem to Mike and he was able to retrofit a toilet supply line, a hose barb, and clamps to create what I needed. He cut and fitted everything on the spot. I will be coming here for all my hardware needs in the future.”
“My favorite thing about this place is they are kind to hardware dummies. No condescending tone no matter how clueless the customer. Plus someone always on deck to help you find something as soon as you walk in. Shelves always fully stocked -- and don't be fooled by the seemingly small size of the storefront. Plenty more supplies in back, next door in the paint store and upstairs in housewares.”
“A hardware store like they used to be! You can get pretty much anything you need here. They also have a plant shop attached. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, I have always had positive experiences and left with everything I needed (and then some ?). This place is a DC classic and I highly recommend it for household needs.”
“I rarely write reviews for restaurants, and have never written one for a hardware store, but the folks at Glover Park Ace Hardware have forced my hand. They carry literally anything you could hope to buy at a hardware store (and many things you wouldn't expect) and virtually every employee I've interacted with there over the years has been kind, friendly, and helpful. They have set the standard for hardware stores in the area!”
“I rely on my local Ace Hardware store for many things. Yesterday I went in to get some advice about repainting my kitchen table. Sanchez who attended me was super. He guided me on what brush to buy and informed me that I could rent an electric sander. He went a step further by calling a contractor friend to get advice on the type of paint that I needed to use and the grade of sandpaper. The results are fantastic. I'm really happy. The service was amazing and this was above and beyond. I'd like to give him a special shout out... As I was unable to fill out the survey.”
“I know there are not many neighborhood hardware stores but I appreciate having one nearby. This one has a great array of products and a nice and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend it!”

“Their customer service is sterling! I had a problem with a faucet (that I purchased elsewhere) and Weaver's representative contacted the manufacturer, identified the part number, and ordered a replacement part even though the warranty had expired. Wow -- Thank you, Candace!”

2438 Market St NE, Washington“I started this review months ago and never finished. That review had 1 star. As usual...this location is absolutely no help. I stood by the drills waiting for assistance. Someone from customer service called across the loud speaker for me and no one came..Now, December 24...I had a very pleasant experience. I didn't need to ask for any help. lol Well, honestly there were 2 guys in the floral department who did stop to answer my question, there was a woman who scanned and told me the prices since the plants were not priced. So, I must say I did receive help. Now theee best part! All of the plants were 50% off! I am in awe and so happy. So guess what!!! I'm giving 5 stars all bc of that. lol there was a little lady who told me "look the Christmas plants are 50%. I told her...and so are all of these." We both were so excited.”

“While I appreciate the great service provided by this establishment, there is one issue with the parking lot. When leaving the premises, I noticed that the drivers tended to block the intersection intentionally, causing congestion and inconvenience for other motorists.”
“2022 posted.
They have Milwaukee packout new three-drawer and four-wheel dolly and a great variety of everything. Big volume store.

Meaning they move a lot of product. They're always going to have the newest and most popular stuff available first. My opinion, it's the best home Depot in the area. 5-31-24”
“I have to call out James (I believe that was his name?) for being incredibly thorough in helping me cut PVC pipes to the lengths I needed.
Him and the whole staff are true professionals who give you their time and attention in finding what you need. Best experience I’ve had at an Ace Hardware, hands down.”
