Was told that if I were to leave my donations (which were neatly packed in bags and boxes) next to their building before 10am, "that's called littering". LOL. Are you going to call the police on me for "littering" my neatly packed donations next to your donation facility? Do you want my stuff or not?????? There was not even an appreciative "thank you" for bringing in the donations. Was just scolded for trying to drop my crap off 20 minutes early. Was told that if I had clothing, I could drop it off at the Exxon station up the road. LOL. Are you serious right now? NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED HERE. Better off just going to a dumpster.

I've been needing to find a good thrift store in the area to fill that void I have in my life. I have been to many in the area with hopes that I would find a location that would afford me some pretty good finds. With high hopes I decided to come here. This place is crazy busy. Mostly with people coming here to drop off donations. This somehow causes a backup of traffic in the parking lot because so many people are dropping off items. Once you can make your way through the parking lot and find a parking spot, you are finally free to go inside and roam about the building. Once inside you are hit with that familiar Goodwill smell. After your eyes adjusts to the lighting you finally get a good look at this space. First thing I noticed was that it was smaller than I expected. The next thing I noticed was how much of a mess this place was. Like you walked into a kid's room after they said they cleaned it. I went about my way, attempting to browse, but wasn't having much luck. Every turn I took I was blocked by several people just standing there and not browsing. I left the clothing section in hopes of browsing the housewares and having better luck. Granted, you're only going to have luck here if the selection on the shelves are good. Needless to say, I wasn't having much luck. I went through the housewares section with hopes of finding a toaster. I know, I could go buy a new one, but if I could find a gently used toaster that needed minimal cleaning, I'd feel quite lucky. No dice. Every one that I came across had rust inside of it. How? I'm not sure. I continued to browse and look over items that I didn't necessarily need, but looked interesting to me. After a few more minutes of this I gave into defeat and realized I wasn't going to find much here. With that, I am still on the hunt to find a great thrift store in the area.

I have left multiple voicemails to see if specific items will be accepted here. No one responds. Call one in Virginia? Immediate response.

Can’t speak to the shopping experience, but the folks working the donations are all so helpful and kind. They offer to help take your bags out of your car for you so it’s a quick and easy process. Was there Sunday 10/29. Thanks all!

Do not buy from them online. You will not get what you think and the photos shown are very carefully picked to mask the disappointment when you get it. I purchased baseball cards for my grandson and when it arrived there were several pages missing cards. Not what you see in the photos. Customer service was horrible and refused to recognize ovioysly someone removed several cards before it shipped. They wanted me to pay for and return it. I have better things to do than deal with dushonesty at Goodwill. I shop daily and never experienced this before. BEWARE WHAT YOU SEE ISNT WHAT YOU GET!

You would think donating working like new small kitchen appliances would not be met with an attitude like I came to rob the place. They will talk to you like you are a dirty lazy useless piece of human being. Do not waste your time. Just take it to the dump.

Drive-through drop-off! You can donate large items. There is always someone there to help you unload your boxes.

I donate once a week at this location and the folks here seem to be upset I come to donate frequently. I donate over 100s of items to Goodwill every month at various locations. Every time I go to the rockville or falls church location I am greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. They are thankful for my donations to the community they always assist with recycling the boxes that I use to donate the items. I was extremely disappointed to hear at this location they weren’t able to assist with recycling the boxes I use to donate my items. After one of the gentlemen told me that they could assist me with the recycling of my boxes. I even went the extra mile to speak with the manager on duty and the general manager to see if they could assist. The Garbage and waste were just emptied out prior to my arrival as told by management. I would like for upper management to provide support with this issue to have a better experience donating at this location.

The worst management ever. I’ve seen them work their employees like a dog!! They are not friendly at all here. Anita is the worst, no customer service skills at all. Everyone in there so angry besides the one they’re overworking. Someone needs to call the department of labor or they need to go on strike because they do not treat those employees like human beings. Stop supporting big corporations like this, they only care about money even though everything is donated. It’s better to go local.

This location is a nightmare to get to and its website does not accurately reflect that it only accepts certain kinds of donations (books) on certain days.

Had an unpleasant experience with an employee. He looked in my box of donations and called it trash. I’ve never donated anything outside of high quality and acceptable items. I don’t know if he was just angry at the world that day but it was extremely rude and hurtful. As someone who was homeless as a child I relied on places like Goodwill and the Salvation Army for items. This was completely unnecessary and unacceptable behavior. I hope he never does that to anyone again. I’ll never forget that experience.

So went to the Goodwill to get an ethernet cord but instead I got a ethernet cord and another few items that I totally totally wanted to get but just didn't have time to get it and when I say that I got both my items that I wanted to get for little to nothing
