GetStrong Fitness will definitely get you strong as the name states. Ty is a very knowledgeable and detail oriented trainer. He gives in-depth explanations of each exercise, muscled that will be worked, and a quick demo to ensure that your doing the exercises correctly. With Ty and I both being former athletes, he knows how to provide you with that “Coachspeak” some of us need to get you that extra push to maximize your work out. Since I started with Ty 3.5 months ago, I weighed 280lbs (6’6”) with a one rep bench press max of 135 pounds. Just this past Monday, my weight is down 13 pounds with a new one rep bench press max of 185. My overall strength has improved tremendously and I have never been more motivated to work out in my life. If you want the results, you are going to have to put in the work. I highly recommend Ty to aid you in pursuit of all your fitness goals. If your looking to bulk, shred or just be active in general, Ty has a program that fits your needs.

Tyler Brown is an incredible peak performance coach. He took a holistic approach to my rehabilitation program including a fitness regimen, nutritional counseling and meditation to assist with my chronic condition. After months of physical therapy (4) times a week I’m happy I transitioned / added a personal wellness coach because the results have been more significant. I believe all health insurance providers should cover the cost for personal training / full wellness services like Get Strong Fitness because results matter.

Ty with GetStrong Fitness is very knowledgeable about the kinds of workouts that he has me performing. Everyday is a different day and I never know what to expect, except that I have to bring a “get it done” mindset whenever I arrive. He’s patient and it’s never a rush. We always work at my pace but he also pushes me to finish strong and work through the pain. If you want consistency with fun and driven exercises, book your workouts with him!

I met GetStrong trainer, Jeff Melvin, back in 2012. As a martial artist, I respect his commitment to training and constant improvement. Jeff and I have been doing personal training sessions since 2015. Jeff is an awesome coach who will push you and encourage you in your fitness journey. His attention to detail really shows he cares about your personal goals, and he truly tries to motivate you in any way he can, whether that's thinking outside the box of your regular workout, researching new fitness trends, and suggesting other kinds of goals like running a race or participating in a cross-fit challenge. Committing to personal training sessions with Jeff was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my fitness goals and well-being. Jeff is always encouraging, motivating, professional and FUN!

I started training with Jeff "El Jefe" Melvin @GetStrong in 2016, and I can't imagine life without his guidance, enthusiasm, and inspiration. He's raised my fitness IQ tenfold since then and made me a much more savvy carbon based life form when it comes to my approach to physical health. Muscles are popping, my food intake is getting greener, and the desire to do better and get healthier has gained so much internal momentum since starting that I now actually crave bigger and better work outs (something I never thought I would feel in my life). That's the biggest thing for me - is that with Jeff's training, the balance of fun with challenge and discipline has created a new internal compass that drives me to do better and work harder. That's pretty rare in my experience. Jeff makes sure that he is a friend, a leader, and a motivator. It's the whole package, and I can't recommend him/Getstrong Fitness enough.

I've thoroughly enjoyed my journey thus far with “Get Strong Fitnessâ€; Jeff is insanely dope and incredibly knowledgeable. His dedication and willingness to see me surpass my own personal expectations is exemplary. The workouts are challenging and fun at the same time. If you aren't looking for your ordinary run of the mill trainer, he's your guy!
