Took 2 sweaters here for minor repairs and cleaning. The repairs are fine, and one sweater came back clean. The other has a hole and several black marks that weren't there when I dropped it off. The photo shows the hole and one of the marks. Do not recommend this place.

I've been going here sporadically since 2018 and it has definitely gone downhill. Lately the issue has been hair. Long stringy hair all over my supposedly clean clothes. I have short, curly hair. This is absolutely repulsive to put a piece of clothing on that I think is clean only to be pulling other people's hair off of me. I've told the woman who works there about it and at first she tried to charge me again to clean the hair off. They did end up taking the item back and cleaning the hair off, but it continues to happen.The picture shows what I just lint rolled off of my supposedly clean shirt ?

From the moment I walked on a Wednesday evening, it was obvious the lady working there did not want to attend to me. I asked about alterations and she shook her head saying it takes 2 weeks. When I said I didn’t mind and wanted to drop off other clothes for just dry cleaning (no alterations) she began putting my contact info into her system. AFTER she did this, she said she could take the dry clean clothes but I needed to come back to drop off the clothes for alteration, in essence making me do two separate trips. She could have just said from the beginning, I’m not in the mood to do alterations and that would have been a better use of our time. Very rude, poor customer service.

Very NICE place to do business Very PROFESSIONAL FRIENDLY family ORIENTED and they do very outstanding work for the prices which are very damn GOOD as well I highly highly recommend Georgetown Valet Dry Cleaners I'm going to all use them for all valet and dry cleaning needs

Charged me twice for dry cleaning. Showed the owner my credit card statement with the two charges and she still refused to reverse either of the transactions. Now have to dispute with credit card company. Wouldn't recommend based on customer service or prices.

They always do a great job with pieces we bring them for cleaning. They also do excellent alterations and repairs. I trust them with all of our dry cleaning and repair needs.

Don't bother bringing your clothes here. They don't actually dry clean it. It has happened a couple of times where my clothes looks exactly how I brought it in. Never going back again.

I've been coming here for three years. I do want this place to work out as I live close but it is the only dry cleaners in the area. First off, they charge wayyyyy too much for just cleaning shirts and pants. Shirts are upwards of $3 and pants are $6/$7. I recently dropped off a large load of laundry. Needed two patches and they charged $35 for the patching and $30 for the shirts and pants making it $65 which was stunning for simple men's clothes. So I picked them up yesterday and they did not patch the clothes and more or less stole $35 from me.
Also, they are only open until 7 PM....I don't know about you but people work in DC easily past 6 PM. So sprinting home to get my overpriced laundry that is not done properly throws a huge wrench in my week.
Also you 100% need to push back on pickup time. I dropped clothes off on Saturday morning and they said "is Friday after work okay?".....No. It's not. That's a week. In other cities there are 24/7 dry cleaners that only take a couple hours. I cant come home from work to make it before you close on a Friday night.
Just go somewhere else or do delivery because it sometimes takes weeks to get my clothes clean and sewed correctly if needed.

I noticed, after picking up my dress, that they hadn't actually dry cleaned it or removed any of the stains. I pointed out this out to them, and they refused to compensate me. Not going back.
