It’s a huge, bustling station. I just wish they would stop hiring cops to harass customers.

Busy between 7am to 9am and 430pm to 630pm.

Great Metro station to use while you live inside Washington D.C. or visiting from around the DMV area or visiting from out of state. Major Connecting Point to other metro stations that can get you to other parts of Maryland and Virginia.

Station is ok, needs a good clean. The stations have gone down hill over the years.

The only downside is the lack of station maps, so I got out at the wrong exit and had to walk farther. The trains are running quite well.

I have a love/hate relationship with this Metro stop. I am leaning more towards hate as of recent. I can echo what was said in a few other reviews, you better know where you are going in here or you will get yourself lost. It is really a confusing station to navigate, and that is when they aren't busy doing upgrades to the tracks. My first experience here was truly confusing. I had no idea this station was so big. I ended up on the wrong platform at first and had to make what felt like a half mile trek to the right platform. Part of that was my fault as I was not paying attention, but also, the signage was not all that helpful. I realized this from the other platform. However, I only really noticed this because I was able to read the sign on the other platform. This place is crowded and you can't necessarily get near a sign and when you do, there are so many people standing around that you just can't see the sign.I also have to say, even though it is huge, it feels outdated. The electronic signs that hang overhead feel like you might be at a midway in an amusement park. They are dim and unless you are close, you have no idea the number of train cars or minutes until the next train. The nicest thing about this place is leaving it. It was probably the most relaxing portion of getting out of here.

This is a convenient Metro station as it services the green, yellow, and red lines. The station is right at the Chinatown Friendship Archway and the Gallery Place shopping mall. It's also just steps from the Capital One Arena. There are many restaurant options all within walking distance of this station.
