I am grateful for this little garden center. They have a nice selection of vegetables, herbs and perennials, plus annual flowers, and supplies every year, well into the season, too, which is great when you need to fill in a few garden areas later in the summer. I have shopped here for now 3 years of gardening seasons and I have always been treated with warm customer service and quality plants. Will continue to do my garden shopping here.

This place is amazing to find thing’s for your garden like flowers,herbs & etc for majority of the home backyard and around the home for DIY.

This place rocks. We went here after a huge fail at a nearby store. Upon entering Frager's, we were greeted by a nice employee who gave us perfect directions to exactly where we needed to go. Pretty good selection of planters and pots here, too. Far better prices than some of the other good stores like American Plant (another good store, but located on the outer reaches of the solar system in Bethesda)Definitely go here and not the new, trendy store at Eastern Market.

I was really excited to check this place out because I’m trying to visit every plant store in DC. I left empty-handed. The plants were seriously dehydrated (wilted or brown and crunchy). There were humidifiers running so it seems like someone tried to do it right but the plants hadn’t been cared for in a while. The rare plant section was uncommon at best, nothing too interesting for serious plant collectors.

Fragers is but a shell of what it once was. Poor management has driven away all the institutional memory.Recently a staff member was assault by a member of management team. She gave two weeks notice and was fired on the spot.The general manager must have something over the owners. Nobody could be that blind to how this business has declined since the takeover.

Great local hardware store and garden center!! Went in for yard waste bags and they have so much to offer in garden tools and plants! Fully stocked hardware store as well!

I went in here this afternoon hoping to get some help and the woman behind the counter did not greet me, instead carried on her conversation and then proceeded to stare at me without saying a word. I noticed their conversation had stopped so I looked up & was met with a weird look that made me very uncomfortable. They then continued on with their conversation when I made eye contact, still never saying a word to me. I immediately left and never got a chance to ask my questions. I am not sure what that was about but it was weird and I don't think I want to come back here. It's a shame because the selection/shop was great.

I adore Frager's! They have an excellent supply of all kinds of hardware needs, plus an excellent gardening center with all kinds of great indoor and outdoor plants. All the employees are super knowledgeable, kind, and eager to be helpful. I love having this store in my neighborhood and am grateful it has been around for so long.
