At Foundation Fitness Gym I’ve been doing a combination of physical therapy and personal training with Maroun Yazbeck and Michaela Krsikova. I’ve found their instruction to be wise, comprehensive and life changing.Their plan for me is designed to address both strengths and weakness, and they make innovative changes in the moment. At the age of 81 after years of daily running, as well as pilates classes, I need these workouts to stay in shape mentally and physically.Foundation Fitness is a small gym which offers personal instruction to clients. Having tried many different classes and physical therapy sessions, I highly recommend this experience.

So happy I decided to try out personal training sessions at Foundation Fitness to get in shape for my wedding. Michaela is fantastic- she has expertly advanced me at just the right pace (I had no prior experience) and I’m seeing visible results at 4 months along with improving InBody biometric assessments. Wasn’t planning to continue after my wedding but definitely plan to now. Good work out atmosphere, not too many clients training at a time and plenty of machines to use pre or post.

I joined this gym several months ago. It is a wonderful place, inclusive, kind, inspirational, especially for senior citizens such as this formerly sedentary woman! The trainers have an impressive training and capacity to motivate. Gym is in a lower-level small building on MacArthur in the Palisades mini-commercial strip near the UPS so parking is limited though available short-term nearby. Shout-out to Martin, Michaela and Kimior: you're the best!

I've been training with Michaela for more than 8 months and it has been such a great experience. The workouts are perfectly challenging and she is super attentive to form. She can tell right away if I'm not aligned correctly (or the weight is too light!) and she'll make the adjustment. The facility is clean, the trainers upbeat, and the equipment is exactly what you need. Super happy with my experience and would recommend Foundation Fitness to anyone!

This was hands down the most fantastic experience I have ever had in a gym. I was gifted with an incredibly thoughtful, patient (Kimoir made careful considerations at every move for a specific health/body condition that had been keeping me from working out), and very knowledgeable trainer who walked me through the best workout of my life. I hardly knew I was working out, loved the music and happy dancing between reps (the positivity and enthusiasm is infectious), and I left confident and with my body feeling better than it’s ever felt in my life - I’m not kidding.The nutrition break down that followed was also effectively insightful and the feeling of being supported really stays with you - I’ve got everything I need to get in shape and meet my goals!!! Also loved how comfortable, clean, and well equipped this location is and how much space we had to ourselves. No questions and no hesitation, this is THE BEST and only gym/trainer you will ever need.

Had a great experience here at foundation fitness. The staff was very accommodating to our needs in terms of the program for us. I think the biggest highlight was their ability to modify workouts to cater to our physical needs/restrictions and areas of improvement.Also the staff was just overall always happy to be there and passionate about fitness!

I've always hated working out and I had real gym fear but everyone at Foundation Fitness is so kind and wonderful to work with. Michaela helped me enjoy the tough workouts and I even found myself doing some exercises while on vacation. I highly recommend Michaela!!I'm sad I moved away but it was a great experience at Foundation Fitness.

I've been working out at Foundation Fitness of Georgetown for 6 months and it's been a great experience. The trainers are friendly, knowledgable and have helped me toward my goals. They provide a lot of variety in their workouts and make sure that I'm working primary and secondary muscles.I've spent most of my time with Michaela and would recommend her to everyone. She provides good recommendations on technique, pushes me out of my comfort zone and helps me train in ways that I couldn't on my own. She's easy to talk to and fun to be around, so the workouts go quick.

I have been very happy with my training at Foundation Fitness. My trainer (Michaela) is awesome. She does a great job of tailoring my workouts (using free weights, plyos, and stretching) to my goals. The gym itself has good equipment and is no-frills, which probably allows for the reasonable prices. I highly recommend checking them out!

If you're looking for a serious and caring training experience look no further, Foundation Fitness is the best! Patrick interviewed us first, and made sure he understood our needs. Kimior is our trainer at the Georgetown branch. My daughter was transitioning from several years of ballet and needed to learn her own training and body caring routine. The experience has included nutrition classes also. We couldn't be more happy.

I was really dreading returning to the gym after a couple of COVID years working out at home- and I was skeptical I’d be able to accomplish more in a gym environment than I was able to on my own at home… but a friend told me about Foundation Fitness and I’m so grateful! It has totally changed my thinking about gyms and what I can do! The trainers are amazing. You walk in and it’s a VIP experience every time. You don’t feel like you’re walking into a big box gym and getting lost in the crowd at all. You get custom workouts with your trainer who knows you and your goals every time AND there’s no awkwardly navigating sharing equipment or trying to figure out new ways to challenge your body. Just outsource the thinking to the experts!! I’m stronger than I’ve ever been and genuinely look forward to going to the gym. I even miss it on off days! Highly, highly recommend.

Very happy with my experience 1.5 months in. Kimior is a fantastic trainer and has been very effective in getting me up to speed and teaching me the basics. The gym is clean and is never crowded. They provide cardio equipment and a detailed warmup routine, encouraging clients to arrive 30-45 minutes to stretch and warmup. I think that has been a nice change compared to quite a few gyms that burn training time with warmup or don’t encourage it at all.

I cannot recommend Fitness Foundation Georgetown enough! I have been training with them since June 2021. My trainer is Michaela and I am so happy with my fitness results. I love how they tailor your fitness plan to you. I highly recommend this gym. They have a clean facility, friendly staff that give you positive marks so you keep reaching your goals. Kimior is also great, he gives excellent tips on nutrition and answers any fitness questions I may have. 5 stars across the board! I joined Foundation Fitness three months ago, and I've had a wonderful experience thus far. The personal training is extremely personalized, and there's a nice balance between being pushed to excel and knowing your limits. The facilities are extremely clean, and the staff and clientele are conscious about Covid. I would highly recommend!!
