WARNING: HIRE THIS DISHONEST AND NEGLIGENT BUSINESS AT YOUR OWN RISK I am reaching out because I need help, I need to contact someone in charge about customer interaction and damaged property from Firestone on Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. I'd been to this store before and it was convinient, professional, and I'd never encountered a problem before this. This store damaged my car by leaving the window down during a 3 day storm, in the heat then initially did nothing to fix the damages and sent me away. Weeks later management promised to reimburse me to fix the damage. After refusing to open a case and go through the appropriate claims process their solution of a detailing cleaning didn't actually fix the damages. Though they never mentioned in the promises of a reimbersment that I have to sign a release and drop the case. The damage was too sever to be fixed with just a cleaning, so I can't sign a release to accept payment, but now I have personally paid for a repairs that didn't fix damage caused by the store, and the damage still persists. They refuse to reimburse. All this dragged out since Sep 2023, and ive since then deployed to germany as a service member now with extreme limitations on what I can do to resolve this.

** DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE GOOD REVIEWS THIS SHOP HAS ** Those reviews are likely from the workers' relatives.If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. I did not want to bring my Mercedes to this shop in the first place because of the bad reviews, but the car overheated on the base and unfortunately I did not have any other choice at that time.They checked it out and quoted me $5060.00 to fix the following: Thermostat Housing, Water Pump, Belt Idler Pulleys, Belt Tensioner, and the Engine Belt. Fortunately, I do have some experience with cars so I knew it was a scam once they said the price.I got my car towed to another shop over in Alexandria, VA, which is only about 15 mins away. They did EXACTLY same service, replacing EXACTLY same parts for $2000. Blows my mind how this shop is allowed to be operating on this base, robbing people in broad daylight.Saddest thing is, once they told me the price I asked to talk to the manager in order to negotiate a reasonable price because towing the car is not very convenient from the base. I talked to her and she is the rudest not just a manager, but an employee I have ever talked to. She said and I quote "Well if you don't like our prices, you can take your car to another place" in a very not friendly voice, and that's exactly what I did, took it to another place and got it fixed for less than half of the price this Firestone quoted me.I legitimately feel bad for anybody who doesn't have much experience with cars and will believe what this "shop" will quote them. So please, DO NOT take your car here.I will definitely report my experience to the MWR of this base and hope that they will take appropriate measures to at minimum change the management of this place.

Wish I could leave zero stars.Brought my car in because of a coolant leak. Asked if they could find the leak and just tell me where it was. They came back hours later saying the car needed two new heater hoses, a new thermostat, and a new head gasket. Then, they quoted me a price that was literally higher than the value of the car. When I said I couldn’t afford it they offered financing ?. Still charged me ~$30 for looking at it; not confident they even did.Took the car to a mechanic I trusted and sure enough, the clamp on one of the heater hoses had come loose. Super simple and cheap repair.I truly do not understand how people can be this corrupt.

I did not have an immediate issue with this store/location. They were able to address my issue promptly and got to work on it right away. When making appointments, I HIGHLY suggest calling them instead of booking via the app. For some reason, they do not confirm appointments from the app (which kind of defeats the purpose). Another issue is that they only had ONE mechanic working the day I brought my vehicle in, so it was about a 2.5ish hour wait from when I dropped off my car to when I got my keys back. They made suggestions for other services they "recommended" but did not pressure me into getting them. One thing I did find odd was that they said my issue was related to the last service I got. Which, ironically, was at another Firestone location. Information which they should have been able to see. If a current issue was related to a problem caused by another location, I should have received some kind of discount or something. Overall, a good shop if you're on/at JBAB and you need work done on your car. Next time I'm going to check out an off-post location to see if the quality is better.

So i made an appointment 2 days ago to put on tires and was quoted 27$ per tire for installation and balance. Come the day I had the appointment, they could not find me in the system. Then they were going to put me in for the same day but they were going to double charge me which would be around 228$ plus tax for tire instillation and balance. The reason for double charge is because I bought outside of who they were contracted with. Nothing against staff. But maybe better communication on policy. But the policy is a scam.

After standing at the counter for 15 mins watching the employees chat in the back I walked around the building to the garage to ask when the counter would reopen. I then received an attitude that they were open. I then walked back around the building to be helped, in that time a young woman ended up ahead of me, it was 1:57pm she had a 2pm appointment to which the lady at the counter (that I had to interrupt from her conversation in the garage) notified her they were too busy for her appointment even though it was made 3 days prior. I then got to the counter to buy a battery? I needed it for a project, the store had it what I needed in stock however I was told she would not sell me a battery because I was not putting it I a car. I acknowledged that I understood that I could not return the battery I was comfortable buying the battery knowing it could not be returned. I was told “oh no that’s not how this is going to go, if you can’t show me the car you can’t buy the battery”. I was unaware I was talking to the battery police, left went to Walmart, payed less and got what I needed. AVOID AT ALL COST, TERRIBLE SERVICE!

They take care of us. They have a small waiting area with 4 chairs. The upside is if you need to wait the exchange is close by

Had an appointment to change my tires, which I just did at the location a few months ago. Showed up to a new and very rude service manager who refused to help me. Please take your business elsewhere-I know it’s convenient if you live or work on base-but you can do better

Terrible service. My first oil change there took 4 hours, but chose to give them a second chance. Second oil change was going to take 6 hours. Completely, and utterly unacceptable.
