Ezra made the process of buying my custom wedding suit extremely easy and enjoyable. From the minute I walked into his shop he made sure I was at ease and explained everything thoroughly. From looking at fabric colors to explaining the different blends and their qualities, Ezra made sure that I was educated to make the right decision for me. He even went as far as recommending colors that would compliment the suits my groomsmen were wearing.
After all the decisions and measurements were done, the suit arrived fitting like a glove within the timeframe he quoted. I could not have been happier with my custom wedding suit and got a ton of compliments at the wedding.

I went to Ezra Paul after looking at options (Brooks Brothers, Enzo Custom, SuitSupply, Indochino) for a tuxedo in DC. I read through reviews and reached out via email and received an almost immediate response.
Ezra is a great communicator and helped work around my schedule to arrange appointments for measurements and fitting.
He carefully performed measurements and went through material selections with me and helped me understand all aspects of suit construction. I forgot my dress shoes for one of my fittings and Ezra had a sample of his custom shoes for me to use for the purposes of the fitting - they are incredible.
The tuxedo arrived ahead of schedule and fit unlike any suit I've ever owned. My only problem is that I'm now seeking out opportunities to wear my new tux!

I came to Ezra to have a suit made for my wedding in December 2023. He was referred to me by a friend after countless meetings with other shops in the DC area. From the moment I walked in for my initial appointment his customer service and knowledge was impeccable. He helped me pick out every detail and ensured that each item fit perfectly before taking it home. While most suit purchases feel like just a simple transaction, this felt like a good friend helping you out every step of the way with honest feedback and communication throughout the process. In fact, I enjoyed the experience so much, that I purchased an additional Blazer and some dress shirts and will only come here in the future for my custom items. While custom services can be pricy I can ensure you that when you work with Ezra, you get competitive pricing to other commercial shops but the best customer service from beginning to end, and will leave looking your best every time!

A DC gem! I used Ezra Paul for a custom suit for my wedding this summer, and I could not recommend him more highly. Ezra’s attention to detail, meticulousness, and instincts are all spot-on. He is also EXTREMELY knowledgeable and loves to communicate that knowledge, and I always felt like I learned a lot when I went to consult with him. Finally, Ezra was very sensitive to the date of my wedding and was always on top of the factory to make sure everything was ready on time. So working with Ezra was delightful.As for the product: the suit Ezra made for me is far and away the best suit I own. Ezra’s custom program is terrific—Ezra can customize almost anything to meet the client’s vision, but he is also very straightforward about the limitations of what he can produce. The process was surprisingly quick too—measurements did not take long at all, and Ezra has a lot of great resources to help clients decide on their design (fabric swatches, samples of button options, even different options for canvassing). The suit also fit perfectly on the first fitting. All in all a great experience.

I recently purchased a custom-made three-piece suit from Ezra for my summer wedding in Hawaii—my first custom-made suit! Ezra guided me expertly through the suitable fabrics for the outdoor ceremony, presented an array of customization options, and detailed the manufacturing process. Thanks to Ezra, what could have been an intimidating experience turned out to be an incredibly enjoyable one.Let’s not forget how perfect the suit looked! Can’t recommend Ezra enough. I have a tendency to procrastinate so after deciding we didn’t have enough time for an entirely bespoke suit, Ezra and I toyed with some off-the-rack options. We found one that worked almost perfectly sans tailoring, and with the tailoring it might as well be a completely custom-built suit. I have lost count of the compliments I have received on the quality and fit of the suit.But more important than the end result is the customer service. In tailoring my previous off-the-rack suits, it’s a very shuffle in, shuffle out, “tailor knows best” operation. But Ezra takes the time to discuss what you want and how you want it to fit, while simultaneously providing insight and expertise that really does produce a top-notch final product.10/10 can’t recommend enough.

Ezra is absolutely wonderful for custom anything related to suits. As a woman it's surprisingly hard to find custom suit-makers, but Ezra had no issues, and was just as knowledgeable about women's suits as men's. I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and he helped me narrow it down quickly, and I absolutely love my suit.I then went back with my now husband for his wedding suit, and Ezra absolutely delivered. He helped us with the suit, tie, pocket square, everything. And the suit was perfect! Any suit I buy in the future will be from Ezra.

Ezra Paul is one of those gems I was elated to find in DC. I recently had a couple custom shirts made by Ezra; the fit is perfect, and now I can barely stand to wear the uncomfortable, ill-fitting, off-the-rack shirts I bought elsewhere. I particularly appreciate the individualized attention and guidance I got from Ezra in picking every detail of the shirts he made for me. His deep knowledge of the history of men’s clothing and menswear trends shines through in every interaction. He also offers a great selection of both traditional and unique fabrics. The quality of the materials he uses and the exceptional workmanship ensure the clothes will last a long time. My shirts were also made in the US, which hopefully means I’ll have a lower environmental impact in the long run. For everything I got, I was pleasantly surprised by the fair pricing of his made-to-measure clothing. Ezra Paul’s ready-to-wear clothing is equally impressive. Ezra’s timeless design aesthetic made it easy for me to pick a ready-made shirt as a gift for a friend. Ezra accurately guessed my friend’s size from a rough description and photo, and my friend loved the gift. I look forward to continuing to work with Ezra to upgrade my wardrobe to more comfortable, better-fitting, and longer lasting clothing. Next up, pants and suits!
