Had a reservation. When we arrived told we had to wait for a car to be returned, maybe a couple of hours. Staff were on speaker phone telling someone they had a car and a truck available now. I asked the other staffer who was eating her lunch in front of us, "why couldn't we have that car she just offered someone else, since we had a reservation and are here?". Surprised I asked, she said ok. Two hours later we were.on our way. Not very professional eating lunch and working on speaker phone in a lobby, but we benefited.

The service was exceptional! I didn't have to wait in line. My overall time was about 15 minutes, and I got a vehicle. The agent at the counter was knowledgeable. She answered my questions.

We had made a reservation months ahead. When we arrived there was no car and they said they were waiting for a car to come back but did not know when, to just sit down. At the same time, another agent was on a speaker phone giving a Subaru and truck away to someone who called after us. No one spoke to us or let us know how long we would be waiting while they sat in front of us eating their lunches. I finally asked how long we would be waiting and why the speaker phone agent was giving away to a person who called after we checked in. I finally asked if there was a car in a category higher than the intermediate we had reserved, and all of a sudden, there was a Jeep available. At that point the agent was very quick and helpful. I would suggest not holding phone calls on speaker in front of other customers, to keep customers informed and not to sit in front of customers eating a lunch scrolling on your phones in front of irritated waiting customers. TheJeep was great.

Kayla and Danyelle were extremely good at managing an extremely busy Enterprise Car Rental Shop despite being the only ones at the business.They were extremely helpful and ensured I got an extremely smooth functioning clean car, which gave me 0 problems during my long road trip.

My experience at Enterprise Rent-A-Car was made that much better because of Danyelle J. and Bryana K. I was getting my car repaired at Service King Collision down the street, and made a reservation here for my rental. Danyelle had me in and out in no time. She went above and beyond and printed the guest parking pass for me so that I wouldn't get a ticket from the ruthless DC Parking Enforcement. I initially made a reservation under my name, and my insurance hadn't sent over the claim information yet. She adjusted my rental agreement so that it would reflect that I was going through insurance and wouldn't have any issues when sending the receipt to my insurance. Bryana was so helpful on the phone when I asked her if I could leave the car at the new dealership that I was purchasing my vehicle from. She kindly said that I would have to return the vehicle to the Georgia Ave. location, but would allow me to return it in the morning so that I wouldn't incur an additional fee.Both of these wonderful ladies deserve all the praise! Each one went above and beyond for me, and I couldn't appreciate it more. Renting a car can be time consuming and painful, and they made my experience effortless!

The manager Danyelle has over the top customer service. I also appreciate them hiring DC natives who understand their clientele base. This is one of the best locations that I've ever patronized. Thank you to these wonderful ladies!

Wow. Where do I begin? The car that I reserved was not available. In fact, there were NO CARS available. I spent 75 minutes waiting to see if another customer would be willing to switch with me after a car was made available last minute. During this whole time, the two Enterprise employees were *yelling* into their phones and screaming profanities (on personal calls, I think). This was all happening while three customers waited to be helped and the phone was continuously ringing and not answered. The employees both continued their personal conversations as they helped customers who had been waiting 15+ minutes, could not be bothered to stop (you could hear them say how much they hated work, how they refuse to help clean vehicles, complaint after complaint, talking about their weekend plans). When I finally received the car, it smelled of smoke despite the employee saying they had re-cleaned it. There were cigarette burns on the seats and sticky stuff all over the dash. All in all, I left the location 80 minutes after my scheduled rental start time. The employee promised to change my return time to 5pm on my return date, given the delays. During the rental period, I kept receiving texts that the car was due back by 1pm. I called the local branch and they kept hanging up the phone. After 25 minutes of this, I ended up calling the 800 number and they were not helpful either. (They put a "note" in my account of my call, but were unable to honor what the employee had promised with the 5pm return time.)A day into my rental, a dash light appeared. I fixed the tire pressure issue myself because, yet again, I was unable to reach anyone at the location. On the day of return, I made sure to return well before the original return time. I let them know about the dash light and then was reprimanded for fixing the tire pressure "because I should have called first". The car was inspected and she said I was good to go. I asked for a receipt (they had put a $300 hold on my credit card and by this time I had no faith in this location), but three more people had arrived and I was told I'd have to wait until everyone else was checked in. WTF. I did not receive a receipt until three days later. All in all, this was the absolute worst rental experience I've ever had. In speaking with three of the other customers, this location had also messed up their reservations. I was a previous corporate/weekly renter and have used multiple other companies including Hertz, Avis, Budget. I would never recommend renting from this location nor with Enterprise.

I reserved a car here through the Enterprise app and when I came to Google to look up directions, I saw all of the negative reviews. I still didn’t anticipate a problem as I had a reservation and was just picking up a car as I’ve done thousands of times before.Service was horrible. Staff was rude and uninterested in helping. In the end, even though I had a reservation for a SUV all they could offer me was a pickup truck. There was no effort made to help me beyond that. Went online and reserved and booked a car at a nearby Hertz and happily drove off with my SUV at an even better rate.

Cons: 1) When I arrived my car was not ready. I was 30 minutes late (yes, my fault for being late. But, see #2 below). I asked if they gave the car to someone else and the service representative said "Yeah, pretty much." I'm not sure what that means. Yes they did give my car away to another actual person? Or, no, but it's convenient that you are late and now I don't have to deal with you... ? 2) This location never answers their phone. I told the service representative that I had tried to call and let them know I was running late and he said "I am the only one here. I can't help people and answer the phone." There were three people in the office. 3) The car that I did finally receive was very dirty and damaged, inside and out. It was a large truck, when I wanted a compact. 4) I traded the truck after a few days and the second car that I transferred into was very dirty and damaged, inside and out. 5) My final receipt was never sent to me and I had to make several calls to get it. Pros: 1) After I complained and waited for about an hour, the service representative drove me to another location to get a truck. 2) This location is next to a gas station, which is convenient for a return. Overall: there are not a lot of options for renting a car in the city, so you take what you can get. But, be prepared for long wait times, no phone pickups, and problems with your car.
