I made a reservation a week or so in advance to pick up a car on 2/17 at 9:30am. I arrived just after 9:30 and there were already 2-3 customers (couldn't tell if parties were together or not) sitting and waiting. Assuming they'd been helped I went to the counter which had a sign stating they were helping a customer and would be back momentarily. I waited about 30 minutes as a line of 5 or so customers built up behind me. In all this time the phone did not stop ringing (likely because no one was at the desk to pick it up). I had reserved a car just for a few hours to get to an appointment in VA. I'd left buffer time but not hours worth so shortly after 10am I abandoned ship because the customers waiting in chairs said they'd run out of cars anyway. I missed my appointment and incurred cancellation penalties because I didn't have another way to get to VA last minute and Uber would have been more than the cancellation charges. Disappointing as I live in the area and was hopeful to have a decent place to rent a car nearby as I don't own one in the city but often need one for a few hours.

Fantastic experience. Madison is so professional and kind. She is the definition of a great employee. She was so helpful and patient with all the guest in the front of house. Mark and Nate were great too! They are running the show and taking care of everyone! 10/10 great location to work with!

The area around the location is sketchy in general. Parking is nonexistent. This location must be short staffed because therse was only one person there. After waiting 25 minutes Madison, explained she wouldn’t take a “broken license held together by tape.” The same license that has been accepted at TSAs, banks and government offices across this country. An interesting policy I thought, but okay. I left, so I didn’t waste any more time. I called to confirm my reservation was cancelled and to make sure I had her reasoning for denying my reservation correct and it went left from there. Had her attitude been a bit more friendly especially after wasting 30 minutes of my time it would have been a pleasant exchange. This is the 2nd time I’ve had a bad experience with Enterprise where a representative from their team didn’t give proper service. I have the “special” membership and still manage to get bad service. It’s weird. I’ll charge it to folks being under stress or regretting their life choices. Either way, Enterprise in DC continues to provide poor service. Madison I hope things work out for you.

Absolutely fantastic and seven stars customer service. I personally believe leadership is everything and Ms. Madison has setup great leadership standards at this location. I work in the neighborhood area and visit them almost once a month , every time absolutely attentive service from her. Thank you so much for your dedication and positive attitude.

Recently rented a car, was in and out within. 5 minutes both times and when I forgot my keys in the car they held them and had them back to me within seconds of me coming back! I believe the lady who helped me was Madison? Sorry if I'm completely forgetting but service was 10/10.

I'm currently sitting in this location. At 1:40pm, I told them I would be there are 2:15. I show up they tell me they just rented all of the vehicles. A brown-skinned guy says it'll be 30-40 minutes but he can check me in while I wait. I present a cracked driver's license and he tells me he can't use it. I give him my work ID. He still refuses. I tell him that TSA has allowed me to use my ID but you're denying an ID that is consistent with the card I'm presenting, as well as, with a work ID. Not only that, but this is a part of an insurance claim....sir come on. If I could give 0 stars at this point I would.

Hello. I want to give a big thank you to enterprise. They are a pleasure to have business with as they explain everything from the start & having your rental to the finish. They will put you in a car rental that you will be comfortable with. When I first arrived there they had many cars to choose From. They are very pleasant respectful understanding and a comfort zone. I appreciate them contacting me just to check in to see was every thing going fine.very respectful. They even gave me a good time frame to bring back my car with no hassle. The employees that I was talking to the day I dropped off my rental for return was just awesome even though my car was total lost and I was given a rental I was able to chat with them about it and she asked me if there’s anything I could do I said lol yes let me keep the car she said if I could I would. Just great customer service. She also referred me to the car sales as Im in the market for looking for a car. Hopefully I hear from them soon. All and out I am pleased with they customer service will do business again with them?thank you enterprise.

I spoke with Alanna at the Central Avenue location today. She has a great phone etiquette and a pleasant person. I appreciate her kindness and assistance while planning my reservations. I would definitely recommend her to assist me any of my future reservations.

The southwest DC location on 4th Street is the most organized, well run location ever. The other locations I've been to are a total disaster. They never have any cars, even when I book for the morning and show up on time, and they never communicate it. The team at the southwest location is excellent at communicating, and on the off chance they don't have the car you need (because they can't control what time people return them!) They always find a way to make it up to you, whether that's calling you with updates periodically, offering you a comparable car, etc. Whenever I have an urgent matter that I need a car for, I'll always book from this location. Special gratitude to Madison, the branch manager, for always going above and beyond.

Madison and Dillion were excellent reps, I had a non-critical issue with the car and they were incredibly helpful and accomodating. They're very friendly and I'll definitely go back next time I need a rental.
