It was a pleasure to work with Carlos and his team at Eng Garcia Properties over multiple purchases and a sale. During the purchase of our first home, Carlos took the time to help us decide what neighborhood we were interested in by picking out some great options to show. Once we had narrowed things down, he and his associate, Aaron, were attentive and responsive to get us out seeing properties. When after just a dozen houses we found “the one”, Carlos and his team moved fast to ensure that we could offer a competitive bid. With just one bid, we got our home! Fast forward 8 years, two kids, and a pandemic later and we needed more space. Carlos helped us sell our beloved first home and find our forever home in a new neighborhood with plenty of space for our family. Carlos and his team were great. They were very patient and helpful as we looked at numerous houses and explored various neighborhoods in DC for about 3 months before ultimately settling on our first home. The process of buying our home was very smooth and all of the details around the processes were taken care of so we were not stressed out with this aspect at all. We have already recommended this group to friends who were equally happy with their experience. We were not really able to negotiate anything by way of price or extras with the sellers, but this might have been due to the specific sellers and situation that we were dealing with versus any real negative about Carlos and the team.

Nick works hard from day one to get you what you’re looking for. We were first-time home buyers and Nick helped us get comfortable with the market and showed us a wide range of options. He also talked us out of making a mistake on certain properties.
We had a very specific search criteria for both location and price. Nick was always able to get us into a property on short notice and had the connections to get information when we needed it. The market is very competitive in this area, but Nick helped us make competitive bids that won us a property.
Nick was always available 24/7 via phone, text, and email. Our work schedules are a mess, but Nick made it work connecting with us and the various mortgage brokers, inspectors, and contractors. Nick met inspectors at properties when we couldn’t make it and provided us all the notes afterwards. He even stayed late into the night for an inspection that went long.
We definitely recommend Nick. He is professional and adept, but his laid-back personality is also an asset as you go through a stressful time.
