As always, Hilton never disappoints. The room was huge and beautiful and this was the perfect location for our convention. The restaurant had delicious food and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend staying here!

Noteworthy details: Front desk staff are exceptional; car valet attendant also deserves a big thank you.

Unfortunately we had a serious plumbing issue due to them putting us in a room that was not ready to be used. Waste water from the floors above started leaking through a patch in our shower. That caused us to have to move rooms in the middle of the night. The customer service following this has been terrible. It has been over a month and they are refusing to refund me for that one night.Nearby activities: Walking distance to the White House

Excellent service, immaculate room spaces, and a completely serene place. More over, for a similar price offered by other hotels in the area the Embassy Suites have breakfast included. The quality of the food is also great. Everything exceeded my family's expectations. Many places of interest are close to the hotel and only take a 15 to 20 minute walk to get to most of them.Excellent service, immaculate spaces and a completely serene and peaceful place. A very enjoyable stay. Comfortable beds, good sized rooms. The evening reception is every night and includes 2 drinks and some basic snacks. The breakfast is great- plenty of options, and the omelette station is awesome. The gym is pretty basic, but adequate and spacious. It's only about a 10 minute walk to the White House and 20 minutes to most of the National Mall.

The front desk people are not that friendly. The restaurant bar during happy hour servers seem disgruntled. The toilet is one of those low water pressure types and it literally takes 5 flushes to get TP down. Not a lot of water savings there.

I stayed with my wife this Friday, February 16, 2024. Everything was going well until we fell asleep and I woke up at 3 am with bedbug bites on my neck. I immediately checked the sheets and pillow and found two bedbugs. We immediately put everything away and left the room. and we went to the reception and told what had happened, the manager and I showed him how I had my neck . He just said we need a company to come and check for bedbugs. I demanded my refund, he said they would call me later. That is rude and unprofessional on their part. If they don't solve it, they will definitely have to talk to my lawyer.

I enjoyed the stay, I got a suite with the breakfast included and didn’t regret it. I arrived here and check in an orderly fashion which was quite quick, with the staff being friendly and welcoming during my trip assisting with anything I need or came across. The housekeeping team was absolutely great and I gave them a tip for the trouble and the amount of work they did while I was out exploring in Washington. The breakfast was nice, I didn’t use the valet service as I was using Uber and public transportation but meh. The breakfast was good and offered good amenities. It’s over all food and close to local attractions or in quick driving distance, and is a good luxury hotel in Washington. If you are visiting, you should visit this one it’s a good spot on hotel.

Review of Embassy Suites Washington DC Convention Center. We stayed here from Thursday to Sunday (leaving tomorrow) Here's my pros, cons, and everything in between. The reason I chose this hotel was the free breakfast and evening reception. Both were great. You can't beat a free freshly made omelet and unlimited bacon! Kids enjoyed making their own plates and getting their own drinks. Breakfast items we liked - Omelets, bacon, sausage, oatmeal station was good. Coffee was GREAT! LOVE THE CREAMER! A 24 hour coffee station would give you 5 stars everyday. Waiting until 630 to get coffee was rough. Breakfast items we didn't like - potatoes and ketchup tasted funny to us. Even my kids wouldn't eat them. The pancakes and french toast and scrambled eggs weren't great. We didn't have any of the cereal, bagels, etc. But they were available.Evening reception- each night there were different items available. Chips and salsa, assorted chips, pita chips and hummus. The chips and salsa and hummus were great! The plain chips were a sad snack. There was also individual bagged snacks avaialbe each night. Fruit was available for breakfast and reception. The line for the bar got longer each night. I don't drink. My husband got a few drinks the first night and said they were weak. But what do want for a free drink. It wasn't worth waiting in line for us.The room was clean and in great condition. We had a 2 bed one bedroom suite. First time staying in an embassy suite and I love having a separate bedroom. However, the full size beds are rough sleeping and I will probably look for a hotel with queen or king size beds in the future. My husband is a big guy and I am not little. Even my 8 and 9 year olds had a hard time sleeping. The walls are thin. We could hear full conversations going on next door and I was woken up multiple times by people talking. The location is great for older kids and young people. Each of the metro stops is a good 10-15 minute walk away. After a day of walking the mall and museums your kids do not want to walk another 15 minutes home. We put in about 20,000 steps each day. They were dragging by the time we were heading back to the hotel. You are near lots of food options and a short walk to museums and Mall. We felt completely safe walking the streets. We had a great stay. When I was booking I narrowed it down 3 hotels. Embassy suite was the middle price and the only one with the free breakfast.
