I haven't had a good experience in the meat area, the staff serves reluctantly until they make faces.

A colleague at MacFarland shared some tamales from El Progreso Market and now I’m hooked. Couldn’t believe how incredibly tasty and good they were. More, please…

We went to buy and the cashier was rude, we paid and shortly after it appeared that our card information had been stolen, we asked to speak to the manager and the treatment she gave us was very unbearable and she couldn't even pay attention to our request.

I drove 50 minutes to get there and been mistreated. Heavy weight Lady at the register needs to learn at least basic customer service. Their inventory is nice, but I’m not coming back.

Here is one of the whiter reviews you might read: If this store is within walking distance, it is the ONLY place you should buy avocados. I repeat, DO NOT buy avocados ANYWHERE else. You ask at the counter, and they will pick the right one for you based on how soon you plan to eat it. Their selection never fails. Buying them anywhere else nearby has always ended in tears...

This store barely offer much other than Central American goods. Mostly Salvadoran, Mexican and Guatemalan. You won't find anything else outside of that part of Latin America, save for some Peruvian products and a bunch of Goya products (sadly, they don't stock any other major Latin American brand of canned products except for a few of Mexico-centric Ducal maybe). The workers here are friendly though and the community knows. I've noticed regular customers conversing with them and they're happy. This is a small store (which to me is more of a bodega but without coffee), and considering the fresh cheeses they have here, along with some alcohol sold on site, I can see there's some allure to this place for the area over the bigger store a few doors up the street.

I had a horrible experience. I won't be back. The cashier except for one was pleasant. When you working with the public you have to love for people with all different backgrounds and nationalities. My first time there. I am a people person. My friends are from all part of the world. It made me sad when you have customers help me out then cashier's. That 's bad.?
