The washingtonian whiskey fest was held here. The space is opened and spacious. The event was cute. I would definitely return to dock5. Dock5 is hidden behind the union market building in a little walk way. Also, there's a few shops across from it.

I love thisvenue. I have seen somany great events thrown here.
A rare find in D.C. – more than 12,000 square feet of warehouse space that provides the ultimate blank canvas with high ceilings and room to grow to the outdoors. Dock5 transforms to accommodate everything from intimate social celebrations like weddings, to high-end dinners to large-format gatherings for communities to celebrate food, creativity, and music. The event space is directly above the artisanal marketplace, Union Market, which houses more than 30 of the top food producers in the region.
