When Capitol Hill Animal Clinic closed, my dog's paperwork was transferred here. It's more pricey, but a very different user experience. Making an appointment easily via the phone, we wanted for one minute in the nice lobby before going back. The vet is friendly and knowledgeable. A wellness check and two shots later, we were checking out. The entire experience lasted under 30 minutes! There's easy street parking nearby!

Always very good vet care for our maltipoo, the staff are very nice, and the facility is clean. However, calling them is incredibly frustrating because while the phone is answered we are always put on hold and have to listen to the worst hold-music ever! They need additional phone staff! Sometimes this makes me want to start with a different vet service.

I visited with my small dog and the doctor stretched out his hind legs beyond anything id seen as he told me the breed got arthritis and hip dysplasia. The next day my dog was wailing in pain and the office was closed. I found another vet hospital with weekend hours but we essentially had to ride it out for three weeks until he gradually recovered. I left messages and got a call from the front desk asking if I wanted to bring him back in, but I never got a call back in but the doctor who was so attentive during the visit nexer called to see what happened or how the dog was recovering.

We’ve been bringing Lance to District Vet since we adopted him through City Dogs Rescue. He was heartworm positive at the time so we were “frequent flyers” for a while. We have been nothing but thrilled with everyone at the centers. They are attentive, responsive, and caring. We don’t mind coming from Alexandria because it’s with it! Thanks for all your care!

We've brought our two dogs to District Vet Eastern Market since they were puppies. The level of care they receive from the vets is top notch! They always follow up after a visit and genuinely care about the dogs' health. We love the convenient location, and the staff are friendly.

The boys are treated so well by all the staff at District Vet however Dr.Evans has a way of putting my anxiety at ease while providing the best healthcare possible for the boys. I recommend her to friends and strangers on the street. She’s truly a gift!

The eastern market staff and techs are so attentive and kind. My dog loves going to the vet! We just moved to DC and I was nervous to find a vet and district vet immediately showed me why they have earned all these positive reviews. The doctors i have seen (Dr. Landes Galligo and Dr. Camden) are extremely thorough, listen to concerns, and take time with you in the room. So grateful to have found them!

The staff at Eastern Market District Vet are professional, loving forwards all the pets, and responsive. We’ve seen two vets and several vet techs. Each shows genuine concern and gives time for the patient’s mom to ask questions. Never going anywhere else! District Vet is our new forever vet.

Our experience has been beyond expectation. It's not just customer care; it's customer partnership. From the way they handle our dogs to the assistance they give in sorting out Rx approval issues to proactively checking for improved treatments toward improved health outcomes, this team is hands down the best I've ever encountered. I'm so pleased with our decision to move from our previous service provider and join the District Veterinary Eastern Market family!
