The tailor is kind and seems quite knowledgeable, but he disagreed with my stylistic choices and therefore didn't do what I wanted: slim fit suit pants. Well, he partially did it (made the ankle tighter) but the thigh was still too baggy as he was going for a more traditional straight leg look, even though I was clear about wanting a slim fit. He seems really busy, so I wouldn't recommend this place if you need something back within 7 days. I brought in two suits on 10/5 and he originally said they'd be ready by 10/22, but I needed them for an event on 10/21, so he rushed and had them ready by 10/15. I wasn't able to get in that day and he's closed on Sundays so it was 10/17 by the time I picked them up and realized the pants were still not right. I ended up taking them to Zips on Connecticut and they are currently rushing to fix it in time for my event. The woman there immediately saw the issue in the legs and pinned it to look more tapered all the way down the leg, instead of such a dramatic difference between below the knee (nicely tapered) and along the thighs (baggy with too much fabric).

Our favorite tailor in the area -- even after moving away from him, we drive back anytime we need something rather than find a new one closer. Incredible work on my wedding suit and on many of my wife's dresses both.

Can only speak for tailoring of suit pants. They were nice enough to do a rush job for me when I had to get to a funeral back in my home town. They completed the work and the pants were ready to pick up by the agreed upon time on the following day. Customer service was fantastic. Offered very professional advice and the cost was reasonable. I will be back for some tailoring of my suit jacket as well.

Super job providing an extra inch to tuxedo pants. Just wonderful service, excellent finished product, all at a good price. The alteration was done in just a couple of days. Just a perfect fit. Parking can be a problem, but not always.

He does everything and does it well. Even when we've asked for crazy orders like making decorative button holes into working ones - he told us it would take longer but they looked great. I will also say that I personally appreciate his sense of humor. We've so appreciated his work.

James is a friendly and trustworthy tailor. I've had a couple of suits and numerous dress shirts tailored here. He's even saved me a few dollars suggesting a more simple approach to a coat I needed tailoring. His pricing is in line with his attention to detail and peace of mind you get from going here. I gladly drive across town to get things tailored here.
