I was in agonizing pain after surgery and I needed my Oxycodone prescription. Even though I got to the pharmacy after closing hours, Stephanie still spent 20 minutes going through the procedure of prescribing and opioid and gave me my medicine. Pharmacy used to be good but have had inexplicable delays on basically everything ever since the new year. Will probably be switching places because I just don't like having to deal with this every single time.

The regular pharmacists here are fantastic, but something strange is going on with all the new pharmacy techs and their training. I’ve had three prescriptions mis-filled within the past 6 months. And they’re not off by a few pills, they’re off by major quantities like a FULL MONTH missing in a 90-day supply, or triple the amount I was expecting to receive because they didn’t read that there are three pills per packet.
It’s a good idea to double check prescription amounts from this place, and I would personally err on the side of caution and just request a recount for anything important or difficult to obtain before walking out of this store. They do get argumentative, but it’s prevented a major issue for me.

The pharmacist Osama
Refused to give my prescription
1 st said it wasn’t ready
Then he checked it was sent
2 nd he said it wasn’t ready to fill
At which point I had informed him I was going to be traveling out of the country and he demanding a printed itinerary
Why would I be carrying this item with me?
When he asked for a copy of it I told him to give me 5 minutes my mother who has the itinerary will send it to me
I came back in to the pharmacy
To be told he will not be filling my prescription
He “spoke to my doctor and doesn’t want to fill it “
Which doesn’t make sense seeing as my doctor filled the prescription in the morning
So after hearing 3-4 excuses about why my prescription could not be filled
I asked to speak to the manager the manager did nothing but patronize me
This is has been one of the worst CVS experiences I have ever had to deal with
The pharmacist Osama was having a bad day and wanted me to share the bad day with him he didn’t feel like putting my anxiety medication together took 45 minutes out of my day to ruin it
How can a place suppose to be dedicated to helping people pick and choose who they would like to help and how they would like to help
This makes no sense at all

Kudos and a hearty thank you to pharmacists Jessica and Osama. They worked straight through the COVID pandemic in less than favorable conditions. They are kind. They understand medicine and will voluntarily advise patients on medication interactions, etc. They demonstrate genuine concern for their patients. The store staff lead by Davida, the manager, is very good at trying to help customers. Occasionally one or two persons have gotten on staff that were rude, but they pretty soon disappear and you don’t see them in the store anymore. The unfortunate thing about this store is that during the pandemic there were lots of thefts and so now the hours for the pharmacy and the store have been reduced. That is not the fault of anyone working there. Overall, I’ve had very good experiences with the CVS.
