The staff is fine. I would give them four stars.
However, this location is an absolute nightmare unless you can walk there. Parking is only in an expensive garage or the very rare street spot. Moreover, CVS changed their phone routing so can no longer call the pharmacy directly. Instead you have to leave a voicemail. And they never call you back. So, the only way to receive service is to go in-person which is not easy because there is limited parking. A cycle of frustration.
As soon as I can, I’ll be switching to a non-CVS pharmacy. I recommend you do not use them if you have any other options.

Your store manager was rude and unprofessional. I was stuck at the self pay trying to figure out why the discount didn’t show up for a protein bar. She came to help, did not explain to me the discount require me to buy two protein bars. While half way explaining to me, she turn to another customer next to me to help him. I waited patiently for 15 minutes until she finished with the other customer.
When she turned around, she told me it is buy one get one free, which no sign saying that when I picked up the protein bar. I told her I already paid, she then said I have to get a refund and repurchase. And she impatiently and rudely asked me that I have to go all the way back to the end of the other line despite the fact I was waiting for her for 15 minutes right at the counter. When I asked can I speak to a manager, I was told she is the store manager. And the staff treated me rudely siding with her, and kept me waited there for another 15 minutes and finally refund me.
As a long time CVS customer frequently using the pharmacy, I’m disgusted by the whole experience.
I request you investigate this so it doesn’t happen to other customers again

Right next to the Intercontinental at the Wharf. It was fine, a touch pricey -- I did see a guy shoplifting and they called the cops. Maybe that's why it's a touch pricey. :)

I tried getting a medication filled for over a month. Back and forth between the pharmacy and me doctors office was abysmal. Then after 4. Weeks no authorization was achieved. I agreed to just buy it without insurance. And then the pharmacy didn’t even have the medication in stock. Useless humans

This CVS is awesome and easy to get on the phone. They actually have answered every call without waiting and hearing depressing hospital music! Erica is my favorite Pharmacist and I highly recommend this location!!

I opted for self-check not realizing sale prizes required a CVS membership. I got a pretty snarky response from the female staff after her younger male colleague asked for help in signing me up despite that I had already rung but not paid for my items. I ended up not getting the sale price or being able to sign up for the extracare program. I would not frequent the CVS the Wharf DC.

Chain pharmacy that also works as a convenience store located on the Wharf. Easy to get to and quick. Recommend their app if local 25-40% coupons come out about every two weeks.
