Weekday pharmacist is unfortunately inept. I’ve had multiple encounters in which she basically refuses service and falsely blaims insurance (usually towards the end of the workday). Finally discussed with my own prescriber. He called and spoke with another pharmacist who agreed and apologized for her latest error. Unfortunately, these errors have cost me $30 in unnecessary out of pocket payments and hours of wasted time. I ended up going with another location where the prescription was filled easily through my insurance. I rarely write reviews, but if I work in healthcare and can easily advocate for myself, yet still experienced this, I can only imagine her impact on those more vulnerable or with less knowledge of the system.

Go anywhere else. I was just here for my flu shot and spent an hour, including calling my insurance, because the pharmacist told me I didn’t have insurance. She tried to call my insurance but said she received a message stating they were closed. I ended up having to call my insurance (which was obviously open at 11am on a Friday). Turns out, the pharmacist just wasn’t entering my insurance number and information correctly. And I, like an idiot, let her give me a vaccine anyway. If you can’t read, you should not be sticking needles into someone. PLUS, this location does not honor the $5 off $20 coupon that every other CVS in Target gives when you get a vaccine. Awful service and no knowledge of their job or programs.

We went to the pharmacy to find diabetes supplies. After scanning the aisles, we didn't see any. We asked the pharmacy tech where they were, and she could have said, "I don't know, but let me find someone who can help you." Instead, she said, "I don't know; I only do prescriptions." Thanks. Then, I asked a store clerk. He didn't know either and he started searching with us, but then he left us. I went back to him and asked him if he could find someone who might know where they keep the diabetes supplies. He said he'd go ask someone.Five minutes later, he hadn't come back. I walked around and found him, and he finally reached out to his manager, who ultimately told him they don't carry diabetes supplies.

This place is the best chain pharmacy location I've ever encountered. First, they actually pick up the phone here, which is unique to CVSes in the District. Second, Solomon the pharmacist is quick, personable, and responsible. CVS should give him a raise (although I'm sure they won't, as it's CVS). I got the J&J vaccine here in early April, and I was in and out in 25 minutes, including the 15-minute post-shot wait time.

Very caring and attentive staff. Unfortunately, they had to order medicine for me and could not find it within a 20 mile radius at another CVS store. However, they communicated with me regularly via text.
