I go in the store today. September 29, 2023. Literally nothing on any shelf in that entire store. The only thing is the pharmacy. And when I make a comment to the staff about how it's pathetic and then how do you feel about collecting a paycheck when you're not doing your job. They just looked at me dumbfounded. This is all of our community. This is all of our children that we should be trying to get on the better right side of life. It takes a village. And the fact that you don't give two shits about your self, Cvs, your job, or your own community or your own children speaks volumes. So when the CVS shuts down, and you complain about not having a job, it's on you. Take ownership and your job take ownership in your own life. You're the cause of the problem. You don't want to prosecute these children. And then you wonder why nobody gets respect. Care about your community. You're part of it. And honestly that's just a reflection of yourself so you're a piece of shit

I don't know if this location gets robbed constantly or if it's just going out of business but shelves are empty!

Bad store. It gets shoplifted all the time, apparently, so everything is locked down. Hardly anyone working there or able to help. Pharmacy is very slow, with people behind the counter who aren't like pharmacists in other stores. Overall it feels rough, like from a developing-world country. Not a safe neighborhood, with shootings in the plaza across the street and in housing down the block. Go elsewhere for prescriptions in particular if you can.

This entire store needs to be fired. From the security guard to the pharmacy staff. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL & ACCUSING PEOPLE OF STEALING. So rude and incompetent.

Among the worst CVS's out there. There are always long lines to pick up medication and so many things are behind glass and require an associate's help (which can take time) because of the neighborhood. Additionally, it is impossible to get someone on the phone when you are trying to find out if your medication is ready for pickup. I would avoid if possible.

?TRASH-TRASH-TRASH-TRASH? 07 APR 2023: My Rxs were sent to this pharmacy. I waited in line for 30 minutes. I picked up 2 of 3, and was told to come back tomorrow. 08 APR 2023: I notified the pharmacy through the app that I’m on my way to pick up my Rx at Noon. I arrived at 4PM. I waited 25 minutes and discovered that it hasn’t been filled. I’m told to speak to the pharmacist (older gentleman, 55-65 years old, Caucasian, 5’11, 165 lbs, wearing glasses). I wait another 20 minutes to speak to the pharmacist. Due to the extremely long lines and pharmacy technician clocking out, the pharmacist walks from behind his computer perch and address the mass of customers. He lets us know that he’s not filling any new Rxs today. I guess he thought that might reduce the line. It doesn’t. He then goes down the line asking why we’re waiting. I was second in line, and when he gets to me I tell him I’m waiting for a Rx that I’m out of/desperately need. It’s a controlled substance and only the pharmacist can fill it. He cuts me off with a wave of his hand, and says he’s not filling any Rxs for the rest of the day. He tells me to try again tomorrow. He moves onto the person behind me and chooses not to engage with me any further. 09 APR 2023: This will be my third attempt to get my Rx that I have needed since Friday. I’ve spent 75 minutes WAITING in the process. I’ve also written this review in the hopes that others will see it and avoid this location. They communicate effectively. They make you wait unreasonable times in line. (There were several elderly/limited ability folks waiting with me.) They cause inconveniences by making people return multiple times as if they don’t have jobs, families, and other priorities. The pharmacist is rude. The pharmacy technician is overworked/overwhelmed. IT IS DESPICABLE THAT CVS WOULD ALLOW THIS POOR LEVEL OF SERVICE TO CONTINUE.

Severely understaffed. I've been in line for almost an hour trying to get a simple prescription - the staff who are here seem to have no sense of urgency for the 15+ person line that has piled up waiting to pickup their prescriptions. Need more staff, and the staff they have could act with a little more alacrity. The wait times as it stands are completely unacceptable.

This CVS is severely understaffed and understocked. Because of the lack of staff, there is rarely anyone who can provide help and getting a simple prescription can take 30 minutes. They have even messed up my prescription and won't answer the phone. Something needs to be done so that customers can at least have a decent experience.

Just the worst pharmacy ever.

I'm a provider and needed to speak with pharmacist in order to clarify a new prescription for a patient. I tried to call twice and was on hold for over 30min+ 1 attempt and 48+min second attempt before giving up waiting. Both call attempts were never answered by a human being. I understand staff is busy, but there should be someone answering the provider line in a reasonable amount of time. This is unacceptable.

I’ve called the pharmacy multiple times and been on hold for upwards of 1 hour. I’m not sure if this is an issue with their pharmacy specifically or just CVS in general, but this is a completely unacceptable amount of time to wait for a conversation about health/medication.

Yesterday, July 14, at 8:59 p.m. I went to pick up my mother's medicine because she was sick and when I was going to leave the cvs, the security stopped me and treated me badly, accusing me that I had stolen and made me open my backpack and I only had what I bought at the target which was food for my pets and my mother's medicine that I had picked up there at the pharmacy and I showed him the receipt and all the people who were there at the Cvs stared at me as if I were a thief and I'm barely 15 years old and I've never stolen from anywhere and I called the police and talked to the manager and I told them what had happened because the security guy stereotyped me saying that I was a thief and I've never stolen and I'll never steal from nowhere and that makes me angry that the security says I'm a thief when I'm not and now the people who saw me there are going to think badly of me that maybe they think I'm a thief and that bothers me a lot because I'm an honest person and that's why I'm putting complain and we told the manager to look at the camera footage and they didn’t even look at the camera footage and this is the Cvs located at 3031 14th St NW Washington, DC 20009.

I'm amazed this pharmacy hasn't killed anyone yet. Or maybe they have? I have never been able to speak with a pharmacist on the phone - just sitting on hold until it hangs up on me. They have messed up my prescriptions and now I'm not able to get my prescription refilled because they have mis-labeled it as \\\"inactive.\\\" Your screw ups hurt people! An absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. Never again.

I would rather walk in front of a bus before ever setting foot in this CVS again. To say the pharmacy is incompetent would be giving them more credit than they deserve.
