This is a signature club, although it doesn't say so anywhere. The membership costs more, and regular Crunch members aren't allowed to enter free, which helps maintain its exclusivity. While the equipment is somewhat dated, the club has a good amount of space. I’m giving it 4 stars for not properly advertising that it is a signature club.

I was blown away from the second I walked in. Super friendly front desk staff and was surprised to learn that parking is validated! The club is neat, well laid out, and impeccably clean! Eric the manager has always been helpful whenever I've have a question, and I see him all over the place. A great little hometown gym in DC!

My girlfriend told me that a trainer kept hitting on her. Turns out that he had a girlfriend. There should be some boundaries here.

This location doesn’t honor my Crunch membership that allows me to travel and get a quick little workout in. Maybe ya’ll should consider a name change.

Crunch has great equipment, friendly staff, they often change things up (new equipment), their facility is super clean and they have air filtration to minimize bacteria in the air. Parking is available and free for 90 minutes.

*** Please note: I wanted to provide this feedback via member survey or comment portal; however, those resources were not readily available (easy to find). ***
What once felt like my home away from home—vibrant, welcoming, full of life, spirit, and energy, while also being a space for members of all ages—has undergone a change in management that has, quite frankly, ruined the club I once loved by introducing a much more corporate feel to Crunch's environment.
The warmth and sense of community that exemplified Crunch’s client-first mentality and set this gym apart have faded since new management stepped in place. Longtime staff and members who knew each other by name are no longer present, policies now feel more rigid than supportive, and are clearly focused on the bottom line rather than the club’s members.
While the equipment remains solid and the facility is clean, the atmosphere lacks the energy and personal touch that made it special. I genuinely hope Crunch Chevy Chase finds a way to reconnect with its roots and restore the spirit that made many of us feel like we belonged.

Worse Gym I’ve been to. They are audacious for charging $100 a month. I have a crunch membership and was told that this club was for “premium members”, as the passively aggressive young lady at the desk shared with me, who also seemed to insinuate that I couldn’t afford this gym. The gym was grimy, machines broken, showers dirty, felt like a holiday inn gym. Would never go back and definitely do not recommend.

Good location and has a variety of classes rolling on a daily basis. Personal trainers are top notch imo

I love this place - it’s my happy place. Clean, friendly staff, and super great trainers, especially Gerald. The clientele are diverse in all ways, making all feel welcome.

I'm not a "gym person" but I love this gym. They.have great facilities and equipment, their team is universally friendly and supportive, and the people who use the gym are super chill. I have never felt judged or out of place, which is how I expected I'd feel in a gym before I joined this one. I especially enjoy the group fitness classes, again mostly because they have a very non-judgmental vibe and everyone is super friendly. They are also very effective! Challenging, but with options for people like myself who aren't quite yet in shape. In short, I highly recommend this gym!

I love Crunch! The place always looks great, is big enough and they have all the necessary equipment. The staff is phenomenal!

Was in the area running errands and stopped in for a visit. For a "Signature Club", this gym was UNIMPRESSIVE. I would never pay for a monthly membership here. For nearly twice as much per month as the gyms near my house (including another Crunch), they were missing BASIC gym equipment that I've never seen a real gym not have. No hack squat, no rear delt fly, no seated preacher curl, to name a few. Only three sets of dumbbells heavier than 75. Reeks of "we've gotta pay this high rent, let's call it a Signature Club so we can charge twice as much". Won't be back.

I’m a crunch member from SC with a membership for access to 406 crunch locations. When I arrived I was told my membership doesn’t allow me anything at this location. I was allowed to workout but told if I wanted to come back while in town I would be charged $10……. The gym was simple with limited equipment and far from what I’m used to. I was also told they’re under private ownership and DON’T have to follow the stated rules of ‘crunch’ . This put a BAD thought in my head regarding this gym as a whole and if I’m not mistaken Planet Fitness doesn’t have such rules in place for its members…… I DEFINITELY won’t be back!
