Good location and has a variety of classes rolling on a daily basis. Personal trainers are top notch imo

I love this place - it’s my happy place. Clean, friendly staff, and super great trainers, especially Gerald. The clientele are diverse in all ways, making all feel welcome.

I'm not a "gym person" but I love this gym. They.have great facilities and equipment, their team is universally friendly and supportive, and the people who use the gym are super chill. I have never felt judged or out of place, which is how I expected I'd feel in a gym before I joined this one. I especially enjoy the group fitness classes, again mostly because they have a very non-judgmental vibe and everyone is super friendly. They are also very effective! Challenging, but with options for people like myself who aren't quite yet in shape. In short, I highly recommend this gym!

I love Crunch! The place always looks great, is big enough and they have all the necessary equipment. The staff is phenomenal!

Was in the area running errands and stopped in for a visit. For a "Signature Club", this gym was UNIMPRESSIVE. I would never pay for a monthly membership here. For nearly twice as much per month as the gyms near my house (including another Crunch), they were missing BASIC gym equipment that I've never seen a real gym not have. No hack squat, no rear delt fly, no seated preacher curl, to name a few. Only three sets of dumbbells heavier than 75. Reeks of "we've gotta pay this high rent, let's call it a Signature Club so we can charge twice as much". Won't be back.

I’m a crunch member from SC with a membership for access to 406 crunch locations. When I arrived I was told my membership doesn’t allow me anything at this location. I was allowed to workout but told if I wanted to come back while in town I would be charged $10……. The gym was simple with limited equipment and far from what I’m used to. I was also told they’re under private ownership and DON’T have to follow the stated rules of ‘crunch’ . This put a BAD thought in my head regarding this gym as a whole and if I’m not mistaken Planet Fitness doesn’t have such rules in place for its members…… I DEFINITELY won’t be back!

I kept passing Crunch Gym on my way to/from various dance studios. Finally in September, I trialed at Crunch-- and joined as a supplement to dance. I love it! 1) it's so affordable compared to dance studio drop-ins AND classes are free with membership, 2) it's worth it for the Anti-Gravity Yoga & TRX alone, which have been revelations, 3) there are many other wonderful classes including Zumba, Abs workouts, stuff with Bosu balls, etc, 4) it's easily accessible by bus or Metro, reducing your carbon footprint, 5) everyone-- from managers / trainers / to cleaning staff is helpful and kind, 6) it is not a fashion show and it is not dominated by any particular age group or gender, 7) it is kept sparkling clean & hygienic, with towels, showers, dispensers with body soap, shampoo & conditioner, hair dryers.I can see myself eventually dropping dance altogether bc remembering choreo is tough as I age. Crunch is more affordable anyway, and I think has enough variety between classes and equipment, to keep me engaged.

A run down club that needs a major refresh. The upper level is hot all summer, which is not ideal since the cardio equipment is up there. Lots of machines consistently out of service. You get what you pay for.

Lately it is too dirty and they need a deep cleaning to breathe fresh air.

It's a $60 a month gym if you are complaining about them not having floors and floors of free weights take yourself over to a bigger gym. For $15 a week, the price of a burrito once a week, you shouldn't be complaining. This is not a meat head gym so if you wanted to lift like that go to one! This is a well balanced gym that wants everyone to feel included. Staff always try's and gives a big smile, the privates sessions seem more geared to older folks and movement not getting big, which is fine. It's clean, people are nice, the people giving bad reviews on this place aren't real gym goers !!! Focus more on lifting not typing !!

A+. I appreciate the relaxed vibe. Staff are helpful and, perhaps more importantly, the other gym members are mellow. The price is right and the location is reasonable (e.g., a moderate walk from the Metro) and this part of DC is relatively quiet during rush hours. The majority of parking is in a paid lot directly behind the gym, however Crunch's validation easily covers this parking for all but the most insanely long workouts.

It is in a very cool location equipment is a little dated and the gym can get very crowded very quickly in the free weight area due to it being so small.
