I come here after school for some candy sometimes, I used to go to cvs but these prices are better. A few times I’ve been a bit short on cash but the cashier is really nice and charges a little less.

They just make up prices on stuff and type it in instead of scanning the items. They charge 2.50 for a pack of cigarillos that literally say 99 cents on the package.

Total ripoff !! The Employees who are either Bangladeshis, Indians or sub-saharan Africans are dishonest, very rude and have extremely poor customer service skills and poor fluency in English. They manipulate the prices and engage in highly deceptive business practices. I went there several times to buy cigarettes and each time I was sold the exact same pack for different prices depending on who is behind the cashier. Some times, somehow one of the employees scanned the pack and sold it to me for the right price (still higher than regular DC prices), other times the employees refuse to scan the pack and instead shadily key in the price manually thus selling the exact same pack for 2$ more per pack and dropping the factory discount. When I compared the receipts, I noticed that the name of the kind of cigarettes was different in each one. So It seems like they charge you for a higher price by charging you for the wrong merchandise, not honoring the brand discount, and try to cover it up by refusing to scan the pack. As a result, you end up paying around 10$ for a pack that costs around 6$ elsewhere on the same avenue while they dishonestly pocket the difference.. They also claim the 1$ off discount to Marlboro but do not honor it to the customer. When I confronted them about all that they were rude, dismissive and tried to be intimidating by yelling at me. They tried to lie and deny that they ever did that but when I confronted them with receipts and evidence they said that the manager instructed them to do so. When I asked to speak to the manager they gave me the run around saying he is not available and claimed they don't know his name nor his phone number. They said I can come next day between such and such time to talk to the manager but whenever I go there at that time they say he is not there or that he will back in ten minutes and make me wait for close to an hour until I run out of time while they are chuckling behind the counter. My experience at this store was extremely unpleasant and I'm in the process of holding them accountable through the appropriate channels.
