I've found my appointments at the Woodley Park office have always been easy and productive. I've met with Daria Kacprzyk and Tara Sadr and found both of them to be excellent.

Everyone at this facility — from reception to assistants to bloodwork — is very knowledgeable, helpful and caring! We are especially indebted to Dr. Neuwirth for his expertise.

Staff was super friendly, Dr Neuwirth was extremely helpful in explaining to me what was going on. Great experience overall!

Used to go here for my primary care, I liked it! However I switched to Medicaid, their website says they accept it… and they do not. They should update their site.

Multiple recent bad experiences, both involving Dr. Neuwirth. Once I was kept waiting in an exam room only to flag down a nurse who told me the doctor has gone home for the day and would have to call me the next day - which he did not. Another time he failed to put in a prescription or capture it in his notes before being out for the weekend after saying the meds should be started immediately. We've previously had very positive experiences with the providers, but would recommend avoiding Dr. Neuwirth.

Sheida Chaikin (PA-C) is a super star of a doc--she's been an excellent primary care physician and has helped me immensely with various health issues. However, I do think the scheduling and prescription refill process leave something to be desired

I'd give 6 stars to Sheila Chaikin, PA-C if I could. She's my primary care physician and she's fantastic. Gives me plenty of time for appointments, is open to discussing my health care needs and works with me to find solutions. I have challenging, overlapping health conditions and many doctors don't do well with that. She excels. The reason for the four (now 3) stars: the parent company has clearly put in measures to try to boost profits. Now, I do understand that insurance reimbursement for primary care is far too low for the amount of work they do. However, the answer is not what they are doing. I've been a very long term patient and spent countless hours on visits. More than 6 a year average. But, suddenly when I request a medication refill, I get a message automatically saying I have to schedule an appointment. I saw my provider less than a month ago. There needs to be a system in place for those of us who are chronic patients who can't just do an appointment every month for refills. Thankfully, Sheida will help correct the system where she can, but I'm frustrated. Also, their prescription refills, if there is any problem, expect not to hear back for a day. And there are problems 20% of the time. Which may not seem like a lot, but it's a lot when you go more than once a month to the pharmacy. I switched pharmacies, reported the switch online, reported it at an appointment, and still... they sent a prescription to the wrong pharmacy and I'll be stuck going again, making another 30 minute trip, and going a night without my daily medication. Meaning a night of very poor quality sleep that could cause me to have a few bad pain days. And yet, I have no way to really speak to a person who can help. I can only leave a message. It's frustrating, and I hope this 4 (more 3) star review gets to leadership and they hear the issues. So far I'm staying with them ONLY because of my provider. Otherwise, I'd switch and try something else to see if I could get better customer service. I think they have people other than doctors screening messages in the portal and sometimes that means my messages get lost. I don't expect truly in a day, but 3 days send reasonable on non-urgent things. Recently it was more like 3 weeks for a reply. I had to reply first to bring it back up. It's really disappointing and I didn't have these issues back in 2019.I'm happy to increase my rating if the service gets better.I understand primary care is reimbursed at abysmal insurance rates. But if they say they will provide care, that's what I expect.

The doctors are great, but the front office is so bad. I’ve regularly had appointment dates and times mixed up, prescription refills forgotten or late, and have to call 5-10 times to clear anything up. Every time I call, everyone assures me they’ve fixed whatever there problem and then still the problem is not fixed, not to mention getting hung up on half the time. It should not be so hard to schedule appointments or get refills. The website provides no way to give feedback or resolve problems. A 30min appointment can easily take 60, 90 minutes and it’s never clear whether the front office is even communicating with the doctors.

A great experience. I was in a lot of pain with a muscle spasm and couldn't move for 3 days. It was excruciating pain. The emergency room gave me asprin only! I will wait and call them next time. They care about your well being. I am a MD client but they picked up my emergency need so I didn't need to go back to the hospital! Baclofen was my saving grace with cold/ heat alternating. I was on my feet the next morning, moving like a turtle but I could walk!! Not an addictive pills. I am grateful they fit me in from the MD office. Thanks so much for seeing me on line at a moments notice!!! Muscle spasms are for sure the worse pain I ever had, and I had many root canals! Thanks, I know I can count on this group. They work as a team to help you when you really need it most!!! Thank you so much. IJ
