Love the staff! Very caring, my pet felt comfortable for his first visit. I was leaving the country, and they made sure my pet had all the vaccines needed to travel..though it was last minute. Collins Pet Hospital is located in a great location, and the clinic is clean and very organized. The staff is superb. My new pet clinic.

Great vets! My two dogs, my wife’s two dogs, and my brand new baby snake all see the wonderful staff at Collins!

My dog willow goes to dr. Fisher. She's amazing. Very caring and knowledgeable. Takes the time to listen to concerns and explains clearly our options. She's so good that one of my biggest concerns moving away from DC for two years was that I wouldn't be able to get her as my doctor when I returned. One of the first things I did when returning to town was to make an appointment with her for Willow. I also note that the other doctors at Collins are good and last but by no means least, the staff is wonderful. Nikki at the front desk is one of the best listeners and always shows a genuine caring for the dog. Finally, unlike friendship animal hospital, which is run by a hedge fund unconcerned with the quality of care, I was never rushed by doctors or staff at Collins. These factors are probably why the former POTUS (President Obama) used Collins. Please don't change a thing!

Dr Fisher is so caring when I comes to treating my cat. She’s very calming when it come to treating her and going above and beyond to find out whats going on with her weird ailment. The staff here is also calm, kind and funny. Highly recommend!

I have had a wonderful experience taking my cat, Dolly, to Collins. Dr. Fischer is kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. She made my cat feel comfortable. The other staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. My cat’s health has improved and I’m very happy!

Terrible experience. Staff is completely incompetent. Procedures are extremely expensive. Worst vet ever. They only care about money. Do not go here, find another vet— there are several better places.

Not a friendly place. We have a new puppy and needed an appointment within the following two weeks but Collins couldn't accommodate us. The person on the phone was a bit rude. Since they have been around for 100 years, you would think they would understand the need for fairly expeditious new puppy appointments. But I guess not.

I took my rabbit Roger for his first visit. Like most rabbits, he was nervous. However, I felt he did better with Dr. Cabaniss than his previous vet. The staff was very friendly. I appreciate them letting me stay with my rabbit during the visit. I felt more comfortable. Dr. Cabaniss was very knowledgeable regarding Roger's needs. This was just our first visit. But, so far I am very satisfied and happy to have Roger in their care.

This place was very ill equipped to handle my scared and aggressive cat (he's a cat...), and would put off any appointments until they had a doctor who was around to sedate him. They also never caught signs of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in my cat, which he was finally diagnosed with after a heart failure event and ER visit. I think breeds that are at risk of heart disease should always be vetted. Also the phone lady was SUPER rude when I was trying to get an appointment a few weeks, she literally barked "WHO ARE YOU?" at me when I made an initial request. That was the last straw - glad I switched out of here. Don't recommend!

Great vet office. Made me feel very welcome and comfortable as a first time dog owner. Made my 12-week-old pup feel very comfortable as well. Highly competent. Accessible via bus. Zero complaints, and lots of praise for this business.

I was 15 minutes late for my appointment and they would not see me. I drove over an hour to get there, had trouble finding parking (it's in Georgetown) and I was rudely told I missed my appointment. Really? I was told to go home and come back tomorrow. What? I do not think anyone can guarantee timing in dc traffic and Georgetown parking. You can work me in tomorrow after I go one hour home and one hour back but you cannot work me in when I am there?! The waiting room was empty ya'll!!Well I won't be back. Really, the woman behind the desk treated me like I was getting something for free not coming to spend my money for a service. She really should get a job at the Food-stamp office not a vet office in Georgetown. On second thought no, they don't deserve such treatment either.Find another vet. That is what I will do even though it's hard since there are not that many avian vets around. I have to find a better practice than this one.

We looked for a vet for years since moving to DC and were never satisfied until we found Collins. We've seen several doctors there for our dogs and cats and all have been great.

Holly is unbelievably rude. Why would someones first instinct be to be rude over someone calling the business on the phone? I hope you are met with the same energy wherever you go.
