I went in this location to purchase shoes. He kept telling me to by a half size up. Because the shoes was hard to put on so I did. I had to bring the shoes back because the shoes was to BIG. He said oh ok I exchanged them for another brand. He had the nerves to say my husband is a bamma because he didn't like the shoes I bought.. I always support our neighborhood stores but I WILL NEVER GO bACK HES VERY RUDE SO WHAT YOU ON A STORE MALCOLM YOU SUCKS!!!!!

Charges over MSRP. Do not shop here unless it is MSRP. These resellers are getting out of control. Terrible neighborhood unfortunately. Maybe if they offered different products that fit the budget in the area they might see more profit and then able to sell other merchandise for MSRP as it should be. These guys are better off saving the rent money and just reselling on eBay and maximizing profit. Being a DC native i feel comfortable in saying that The city would be happier with another black business there that doesn't overcharge and isn't able to control their customers.

The owner charge me $180 for some kids shoes that’s really $95 it’s always the Black people that do that to Us though I will never buy anything else out of the store he’s charging more than anybody for Shoes??♀️

I stopped in today and was really happy with my experience. The owner Malcolm really took his time with me, bringing me every size option possible. There were more Jordan 1 choices here in my size than any other store I have tried, including resale places. I bought two pairs and paid only the regular price, no markup. I will return for sure—I can’t imagine finding this selection anywhere else.

I love my experience every time I go to City Beats. Always great styles to choose from along with awesome advise about the current and up coming releases. The fact that there’s a sneaker store in our community for us by us makes me happy to spend with a good, fair and honest businessman.
